Beautiful home on Chain Lake in Sugar Camp with Breathtaking views thoughout and 3 large living spaces! Red pines were the inspiration for the Pine Cone Place. You instantly feel you have entered the 'North Woods' as you peer out from many vantage points. Wether you are in the great room, 2 Master bedrooms, living room, exposed lower level bedroom and rec room you see the trees and lake .
As you enter the home the table is set for your week long vacation. An open concept kitchen, which if fully equiped, overlooks the dining area and living room with lake views. The kitchen is filled with new tableware, waterless cookware, coffee maker, toaster, griddle, and supplies for the family chef to use. If not in the mood to cook, several great restaurants are within minutes.
When its time to turn in, you will have to flip a coin to pick your bedroom. All pillow top matresses for the ultimate nights sleep. The lower level master bedroom has the Queen size 'Pine Cone' beroom set. Full lake views out of 5 full length windows. Walk out patio door and full bath. The first floor master bedroom has a Queen poster bed with walk out patio door. Smaller bedroom, also on the first floor, has a Queen size bed. The forth lower bedroom has a King size bed with full views of the lake. Two quick blow up Queen mattresses are available with several places to use them. Much more comfortable than fold up beds.
Spending time with family and friends reconnecting is what makes vacations special. The home has 3 rooms to congregate to play games, watch direct TV, or just visit. The great room is large with 180 degree views of the North Woods and lake. The original living room has a walk out patio door and connects with the dinning room and kitchen. Fully landscaped yard with 3 patio places to sit and take in the fresh air. Patio sets for 2/4/8 guests. Private pier - jump in the lake, fish, and dock your boat. Boat launch is 10 minutes away. Canoe. 20' Manitou Pontoon boat with a 60HP motor available for an extra fee. Plenty of parking space for trailers. We are on Chain Lake which is on the south end of a 5 Lake 2300 acre chain of water for hours of fun. One restaurant/bar lakeside.

Great place for families. Many separate hang out areas. Close to many towns to visit and enjoy.
Overall had a very nice time. Renting the pontoon was great. The owner was very pleasant to work with as well as the neighbors. I gave it 4 stars only because there wasn’t any area to hang out down by the water. We had the boat so that made up for it. Also no air conditioning so would love this place in spring, fall or winter depending on weather. Would love to return.

Spacious, clean home with beautiful lake views!
Home is large and open. It is clean and comfortable. Pretty views of the lake. Pontoon boat is nice! Would have given five stars but hot tub and slot machines didn’t work. Overall a fun experience!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with extended family at the Pine Cone Place! Beautiful home with 4 specious bedrooms and three living areas. The great room has a gorgeous view of the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We rented the pontoon boat, fished every day and cruised the chain. We made s'mores over the fire pit and grilled hamburgers on the grill. We had a squirrel visit our bedroom to add excitement to the weekend. You will love this place. See how many pinecone items you can find!

The Pine Cone Place is Beautiful. The kitchen is awesome and has a open concept. The entire house is spacious and so roomy. Right on the lake, with a wonderful view. Patio sets to enjoy the outdoor scenery. The house is furnished with beautiful furniture and decor. It is very peaceful and relaxing. It is a wonderful place to get away and enjoy yourself!!! What a beautiful property!!!
Terrific vacation!
5 High school friends (for 50 years) spent 5 wonderful days here in May, 2014. We've rented lots of houses over the years, but we all agreed this was one of the best ever! The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. We decided we could all have brought our families and had enough room. The four bedrooms are all furnished beautifully right down to the last detail, and the beds were great. The closet space is unbelievable! We enjoyed cooking and visiting in the large, well stocked kitchen. The multiple TV areas provide viewing for different levels of interest. The slot machines in the family room and the hot tub were also fun. We were too early for the water activities, but the grounds are very nice. I would recommend this house to any group, family, or just a few girlfriends like us. Craig was probably the easiest owner we've dealt with, both in the booking process and when we were at the house. Thank you. We'll be back!
Wonderful place with lots of room and a great location.
We had 7 adults and 2 young children staying here and it was the perfect place with more than enough room for all of us. The layout of the house and the size of all the rooms are perfect to entertain friends and family together or you can be alone very easily. All of the full size bedrooms are awesome and the kitchen has a brand new refrigerator and stove with plenty of space to cook delicious meals. Also the use of the pontoon boat was phenomenal along with the backyard being a great place to relax and have a bonfire. I would recommend this place to anybody and would love to come back myself with an even larger group.
Awesome Place
We had 10 people stay here and the house is great! 4 large bedrooms (a few with unbelieable views), 3 different living rooms (including a great basement and master living room), hottub, awesome views. Has eveything you need to have a great getaway! We already rebooked for next year and can't wait to stay here again. Owner has great communication and made the process very easy. Location is about 15 minutes to Eagle River and is a very easy drive. Would highly reccomend!

Wonderful weekend
Had a great time at this huge house. Plenty of room for everyone and cooked in every morning and night. Easy access to snowmobile trail and lots of bars/restaurants. Also plenty of room for 4 vehicles and 2 trailers so I definitely would recommend.
