Wonderfully updated, well appointed, happy we made this choice.
Visiting family here in Washington and were thrilled without decision to choose this lovely home. They have done a wonderful job in restoring this 158 year old jewel on Locust Street. Will definitely book the same home again for our next family reunion.
There were 10 of us who stayed in this four bedroom dwelling, on a nice quiet corner near downtown Washington, MO. During our 5-day stay, we found all was well above par, including the furnishings, appliances, kitchen supplies, bathrooms and supplies, air conditioning and parking, to name a few key areas.
Even though we were a sizable bunch, we could all gather comfortably in the living room, and even around the very large dining table in the kitchen area.
A very nice and comfortable time was had by all, at what we came to call the White House in Washington. The owner, Cindy, was responsive and helpful from the beginning and throughout.
Thumbs up, and we recommend this residence without reservation.
Wonderful Getaway Home
This absolutely immaculate and lovely decorated home was perfect for our family. We were visiting for an anniversary party and were so pleased with the location and amenities! We will definitely stay here again and recommend The Guest House on Locust to other family and friends!
This place has to be one of the best VRBO! Clean and cossey. Had everything you would need for a trip. Tons of great food and winerys around. Will be staying again!
Four siblings and their families gathered here over the Christmas holidays and all were duly impressed. This house is well-appointed, has wonderful accoutrements, and is perfectly situated with easy walking access to the riverfront and downtown. Upon arriving, we all were pleasantly surprised by not one, but two beautifully decorated Christmas trees and tasteful house décor. Even with the occupancy of 14, it did not feel cramped and both kids and adults were able to cohabitate comfortably and happily. The high ceilings and architectural features have been carefully preserved and there is ample seating for meals and entertaining.
Any suggestions I had were thoughtfully received and appreciated by Cindy. I would highly recommend this property.
We so enjoyed your home. There was plenty of room for all of us especially around the big kitchen table for playing games. We loved the décor. Everything was clean, beds comfortable. And great location for wineries and restaurants.
