Relax and enjoy one anothers company with no interruptions. Spend your days walking in a beautiful wooded setting listening to the birds sing or enjoy a picnic lunch. And, in the evening, a cup of coffee or hot tea in front of a lovely fireplace would be a nice end to a romantic day. Whatever your day and evening brings it will surely allow for spending quality time together and making special memories and cherished moments. We also offer upgrade package that includes breakfast, a dozen roses, and meat, cheese, and sparkling beverage on ice for additional cost. Also a downgrade package that allows you to bring your towels and wash cloths for a discount price. Also we allow single Friday night stays if the Saturday and Sunday nights are booked. Absoulutly everything and more my wife and I imagined this place to be. This cabin is so unique and cozy. If you want to spend time with your soulmate and reconnect with them this is an excellent place to do it. Our host Lamar has done such a great job making this cabin a getaway for couples. No TV No INTERNET. Great place to enjoy each other. This cabin is fantastic!!!!!!! From the most comfortable bedding, romantic jaccuzi and the most romantic settings. We really felt the spirit of the lord with us. What a great weekend!!!!!!

Cozy cabin
Cabin was super clean, a great size, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We premade food, because it wasn’t clear that there was a stovetop in the kitchen - there is! Just in case there’s future questions about it ????

The most romantic and relaxing vacation ever!
Situated in a private area surrounded by farmland and woods is the most adorable cabin we have ever stayed in. From the gate with a festive wreath, the porch set up for lovebirds to sit with coffee and a living room with fireplace and comfy couch we were so excited to see the rest of the home. We walked into a quaint eat in kitchen with everything to let you prepare your own meals so you never have to leave the cabin, the refrigerators and microwave are hidden in cabinets to "hide" the modern appliances, from the kitchen you can go outside to use a wood fire pit, gas grill and sit under the pergola- too chilly for this visit but next time! My hubby and I then went to the bedroom area and saw a huge,soft bed begging to be snuggled on, a jacuzzi built for two and a connected bathroom with a shower for two. Lamar and Cathleen had candles and candies set out for romance. The cabin is decorated with such a loving, romantic style that makes you feel at home. There isn't any television and the internet didn't work for us but there were games to play, guest books from the last 10 years to read (and you contribute to the newest one) as well as a photo book showing how Lamar did the renovations to keep you entertained in between snuggles. Hubby and I played Boggle Bowl and snacked picnic style on the floor by the fireplace- it was so much fun that we have promised to turn off the TV and play games at home more often. The landscape is beautiful with trails to stroll along, so many hiking trails and activities suggested by past guests in the books, and we were close to Gettysburg where we went on a carriage ride with Santa, and loved the local shops. We are renewing our vows this Summer and will honeymoon here as well as come back at least once a year. If you are looking for a truly romantic get away- this is the perfect place.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and romantic! Such a love getaway and so peaceful! The owners are fantastic and so easy to work with! I definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a tranquil and beautiful location!

Beautiful Cabin
My wife & I stayed here for our Anniversary and it was worth every penny. I only wish I would’ve booked it for more than 1 night. As everyone else has said in other reviews, the craftsmanship that went into preserving this cabin was great. We will definitely be returning at some point. Thank you to the Wadel family! Great job
