Fresh Savannah breezes or fully air-conditioned quiet. Rooftop patio, 360-degree city, sea & mountain views available to guests. Electric driveway gate, daytime caretaker, 6pm - 6am security guard. Secure carpark and elevator. Easy walk downtown and to many restaurants & clubs including IMax cinema. Full-sized washer & dryer, high speed internet, cable. Absolutely NO SMOKING.
 
Our apartment is on the Savannah. Port of Spain's city park. Cross the road to walk/jog or sit at the dining table in the apartment and eat French fries and watch cricket, football or walkers. Rooftop patio has 360-degree views of POS. New queen bed in ensuite master bedroom, two new single beds in 2nd bedroom. Electric inflatable, queen-sized airbed for additional guests if necessary - not advisable for long term. Security electric driveway gate for cars with a pedestrian gate with a key (always locked for security). Assigned secure open air parking space with elevator or stairs to apartment. As you come out of the elevator our door is just behind the elevator. Each bedroom has its own split unit and the main area has a split unit as well so the apartment is very cool and cosy when the window are closed. The glass sliding window mean you always have a great view of the savannah even with the window closed. The power supply is the same as the US which is 220V.
 
Take the elevator or the stairs to the top floor for breathtaking views of the Savannah and Port of Spain (you can see exactly how close everything is). This rooftop is seldom used by other tenants (really!) and it has a secure waist-high railing around it, although you must watch your kids carefully if you choose to take them here. The patio fills the entire roof of the full apartment building, with a covered area with chairs and a table if you wish to have a coffee in the morning or wine at sunset. I often do my yoga both in the morning or at sunset and there's no one to disturb my bliss.
 
We are back and forth to Trinidad for work but we are based in Barbados, however our trusted housekeeper Marisa and her husband can collect you from the airport for US$50 or TT$300. We also have contacts for car rentals who will pick you up at the apartment, taxi services and private tour operators. We know Trinidad and Tobago and have lived there most of our life and are pretty certain that we can help you with any questions you might have.
 
Our location means you do not need a car if you only want to go around the Port of Spain areas or if you know Trinidad well enough to take bus and taxis. However if you want to discover Trinidad we would strongly recommend you rent a car, a mid-sized car rental is usually $1800-$200TT / per week $300-$300US.
 
Our apartment is on the 4th floor but it is on the 5th level, the first floor is considered the ground floor. There are 6 floors / 7 levels with the 6th floor being the roof top. The walls are solid and we never hear the neighbours. The apartment is literally on the other side of the road to the savannah, so it can be loud during the rush hour if you have the windows open, but once the windows are closed and the a/c is on, it's easy to concentrate and work or watch TV. You can walk to the Savannah Thursday - Sunday and experience really cheap delicious street food, or you can walk to Cipriani Blvd (5 mins walk) and dine at one of the restaurants. There is no where in POS that is not within walking distance, it just depends on the heat, how much walking you want to do. There are nightclubs, coffee shops, a great breakfast cafe around the corner...There is no better location for Carnival!
 
I'm not a good one to advise on public transportation as we've always rented a car, but there are taxis which drop off just near Warner street and will take you all over.

Comfortable, homey, good location for driving, private parking is a plus, great value.

Perfect for this business trip. Good location .5 to 1.5 hour from POS depending on time of day. Basic but perfect for my needs without breaking the budget. Owner was very helpful and accommodating. Felt like I made a new friend. Would definitely stay again. Only drawback is traffic noise, especially during rush- ear plus helped with sleeping in front bdrm. Back is quite and no problem.
