Green Acre is situated 250 feet above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the bay and the Caribbean Sea. The backdrop is the main ridge, approximately 1,800 feet high, and one of the oldest forest reserves in the western hemisphere. Englishman's Bay is a pristine beach that has been ranked in the top 10 beaches in the Caribbean in numerous magazines. It is a great beach setting and also includes excellent reefs on both sides of the bay for swimming and snorkeling. The nearby village of Castara also offers a beautiful beach and swimming and snorkeling area. There are also nice restaurants and local entertainment and cultural events available in Castara.
The cottage sits on a one acre lot in a natural setting. It is an idyllic place to get away from it all.
The interior has been completely up-dated and features cabinetry with beautiful Caribbean cedar. There are also all new appliances and furniture. It is a perfect place for two people to enjoy a relaxing and romantic interlude.

Lovely cottage with a breathtaking view over the Englishman’s Bay
We had a wonderful time here. The cottage is very well equipped for 2 people and the housekeeper is taking care of all things inside and outside the house, so we were feeling like at home. And then every morning this stunning view ...

Even better the second time around.
My wife and I just returned from our second stay at Green Acres in as many years. We never tire of the view of Englishman's Bay below the cottage and all the things to do in the area. BTW - Englishman's Bay is rated as the #3 attraction out of 101 possibilities in Tobago by Trip Adviser. Because it is secluded there are never many visitors; just enough so one does not feel isolated. And yes, Green Acres cottage works perfectly for two people. Maurice, Canada

A lovely secluded position far from the madding crowd.
Enjoyed Green Acre very much - a 4WD is a must if you want to get the best out of getting around Tobago. The cottage amenities are OK but could have done with a few more basics like a kettle to make a cup of tea( we had to use a saucepan!), Two sun loungers not one would have saved me and my wife having to fight to get the bagsy towel out first each day ! . Fantastic postition and views over the bay - but the sun patio is totally in the shade after about 2pm. Generally though, excellent value and a great opportunity to get away from it all..........and chill out.
