Located in the Cottages in the Clouds on Lookout Mountain, just over the state line from Chattanooga, TN,
Dogwood Cottage is a 4 bedroom/2 bath log-sided cottage. There is one king bedroom downstairs and 2 queen bedrooms and a king bedroom upstairs. A full bath is on each level. You can sit on either the top or bottom front porch which overlooks our large yard and there is a small porch with a gas grill on the back porch. A log fireplace, satellite TV, dvd/vcr and cd player are in living room where there is a sleeper sofa and the kitchen is fully furnished. Bed linens and bath towels are provided and the washer and dryer are on the first floor in the laundry closet. Please read our reviews on this website. Our feedback/comments have been excellent.
Other rentals are close by so larger groups can be accommodated.

Loved our stay at the dogwood cottage! The beds were comfortable and the whole place was extremely clean. It was an excellent value for the price which was very reasonable. Would definitely book again for another group stay!!

Perfect for a family or a large group
I just returned from a reunion of long time friends and stayed at Dogwood cabin. We were a large group and actually used three of the cabins on the beautiful property. You can make your vacation be what you want it to be. You can sit on the large porch, go swing in the gazebo, or go for a long walk in the woods. Members of our group did all of these. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant one night and chose to cook and eat-in the next. Our group mostly stayed on property, but there are many attractions nearby--Rock City, hang gliding, beautiful nature parks, or Chattanooga is a very short drive away. Hosts are warm with a great attention to detail.
Perfect gathering place for family and friends
Childhood friends gather at Cottages in the Clouds every other year. It's the perfect setting for relaxing, sharing meals, gathering on porches or in the gazebo for long talks, and renewing friendships. I've stayed at Dogwood Cottage four times over the past six years. Large, clean, comfortable - all the joys of a home away from home. I recommend Cottages in the Clouds to anyone looking for touring Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga, or just chilling with family and friends. Truly a fine place, or we wouldn't keep going back. Highly recommend.
Dogwood cabins
Everything went well with our visit.My family who met myself up there's could not say enough good things about the cabins. We ended up having to rent a second cabin and Susie was there to help us out.I would highly recommend to anyone that if they are looking for cabin or cabins to rent they should look no further than these.They are very well taken care of.The location was awesome. We had a great time and experience during our stay at this really comfortable, clean and spacious cabin. This was our first time there but I hope it won´t be the last. The place was very clean, everything in order and the owner was very helpful. Definitely highly recommended!!!
Wonderful Dogwood Cottage
We rented Dogwood Cottage for a bachelorette weekend getaway. The house was beautiful and clean and our group had a great, relaxing time. We had everything we needed, from blankets and pillows, to towels and kitchen items. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us. When we had an issue working the DVD player downstairs, the owner called immediately to say she could buy one and bring it right over to us. We enjoyed the atmosphere and our neighbors were very friendly. The location is nice and quiet, but not too far from restaurants, a scenic overlook of Lookout Mountain, and Chattanooga. We will definitely be back.
Happy Family
The cabin was amazing my family came from TN and CO for this vacation. And we all agree that this cabin made our trip even better. It felt just like home every evening after we returned from sight seeing. Thank you for making our first big family vacation a memorable one.
Peaceful and Convenient
Used the house as a base for activities in Cloudland Canyon Park and on Lookout Mtn. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for 6 people. Had some trouble staying connected with WiFi and the toaster needs to be replaced but I would definitely stay again if in the area.
Nice cabin
This was a very nice cabin for a weekend get away with family. We didn’t stay around the cabin except to sleep. It is dated and nothing fancy but for the price it is roomy and comfortable.
