Perfect cabin! Loved every second there!
We just spent the week here, the first week of January and I cannot say enough great things about this cabin! Everything was fantastic! The place was spotless, the furniture and beds were so comfortable! Very well-stocked with towels, pillows, blankets and pretty much all the other necessities in regards to bathrooms and kitchen. It is a very spacious home! There were a total of three humans along with our two toy poodles. And all five of us enjoyed every moment that we were there. It was very easy to get to the house, maybe a half mile off the main street. Tons of room for parking and in a great neighborhood! And I would also like to note that Vicki, the owner, is the best! She loves her house and cares about those who spend time there. Thanks again for everything and I highly recommend this home!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Getaway
Our family of six with children ranging from age 10 to 20 found the cabin very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. The hot tub was a hit, and the close proximity to Asheville allowed us to go enjoy the Pinball Museum and the Asheville Science Museum. Planning to enjoy the Maggie Valley Christmas Tree lighting before heading home.

Had a GREAT TIME at Hibernation .
Vickie bent over backwards to be sure our stay was good. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. While we had a tough time working the TV, we were finally able to figure out. Hot Tub was Great. Would definitely rent again. We understood about the fireplace, but would have been better if it were working. Thanks for letting us use your cabin.

First time cabin renter.
Very nice experience. We are 5 recently retired adults. (2 couples and 1 single). Cabin was well supplied for all our needs. Quiet neighborhood.. morning coffee on porch was very relaxing. Wanted to visit Gatlinburg and Biltmore in Asheville during our stay so, picked Maggie Valley as kind of a central location. Picked this site as it was motorcycle friendly with a huge flat parking area. Owner, Vicki, called before we arrived to advise if we needed anything. Very sweet and pleasant lady. I will return. Thanks Vicki!

The cabin was very clean, and spacious. The hot tub was amazing.
I am so thankful for the pet-friendly environment. The cabin is literally right in the middle of Maggie valley, less that 5 minutes to town. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. This was the first of many vacations here.

Very Nice
My family had the best time here......house is great and has everything you need. The owner is very easy to work with and made our stay the best. Close to Cherokee so we went tubing had a great time. The house is in the shade so it was very cool. I enjoyed the weather up there we even cut off the air and raised the windows a few days. I will use this location again.

We had a great time at Hibernation Hollow. The location was perfect for us- close to town, but far enough off the main road that we didn't feel close to town. The beds were comfortable, and all of the amenities were as described. We would definitely recommend this property.

Great Thanksgiving Week Stay
The cabin was clean and neat and well maintained. The porches were great as was the hot tub and the fire pit. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and there were plenty of towels. There was only the breakfast nook for dining so seating was a bit snug for four adults. The TV did not have the networks on it, so watching football on Saturday meant going out. A great overall experience in a quiet and pretty setting.

Had a great time
We had an amazing time. I definitely recommend this cabin. Vicki was very kind and was always there if we needed anything. Beacuse of the rainy weather, we spent most of our time in the hot tub, and we enjoyed every bit of it. I was glad we found this place for our weekend getaway with my family.

Wonderful
Our family had a wonderful time. There was a lot to do in Maggie Valley. There was a lot of beauty and we had a wonderful time seeing the wildlife. There was a wonderful miniature golf course that had 18 holes all the kids loved it!

Secluded and roomy!
This easy to find cabin was ideal for our long weekend stay in the mountains. My elderly parents, who stayed with us, had no problems getting around the property. We all enjoyed the spacious living area, porch/deck areas, two full baths, and lots of kitchen cabinet and closet space for storing things. The location is great also as it is close to Waynesville, Asheville, the great smoky mountains, and Blue Ridge Parkway. Our small dog liked it too! We all agreed we would definitely stay here again. The owner is very responsive and helpful.

Nice, comfortable cabin
Thank you for offering your home to us. It is only 5 miles up the mountain to cattachoee ski resort and 2 miles to Tube World. Restaurants galore. The hot tub came in handy after a day on the slopes. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was leaking and the oven runs very hot but we made do. The kids loved TVs in each room and the beds were comfortable. Maggie Valey has a lot going on. We will be back!

Wonderful family vacation
Had a great time at Hibernation Hollow enough room for all 6 of us . We had friends staying at Twin Brooks and it was a short walk. Everything is close by we even went to Gatlinburg for the day and also seeing the falls close by. Would recommend this destination

wonderful family vacation
Ourfamily of 6 really enjoyed our week long stay in this cabin. The space was perfect for us. Having a place to do wash was perfect after lots of hikes and playing in mountain streams. We went to Ashville, Cherokee, Bryson City, and Gaitlenburg and found the location to be very central for what we water to see. The owner was a delight to work with as well!

A great cabin in the perfect location
This cute mountain cabin is located in close proximity to Soco road, which is the 'main strip' in Maggie Valley. We booked it knowing that for the size and location, it was a very good price. We expected the cabin to reflect the fact that others around were more expensive, but it exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're the type to be bothered that the kitchen is outdated and the towels don't match, this isn't the rental for you. But if you want a clean, cozy place to enjoy the mountains, you can book with confidence. While the cabin isn't secluded, it is situated so that you've got privacy from the neighbors. It is also easy to find. Plus, the hot tub is wonderful after a day of skiing, hiking or other outdoor adventure. The owner was easy to work with as well. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Excellent Mountain Vacation
My boyfriend and I had a great time at Hibernation Hollow! The pictures are very accurate as was the description of the area. It is furnished very comfortably and everything you could possibly need is available except your groceries. We ventured out sightseeing on a few occasions but spent most of our time at the cabin enjoying the fireplace and the hot tub!!! We really spent a lot of time in the hot tub! The kitchen is very well equipped so we cooked there rather than eating out. The owner is very pleasant and responsive to questions and helpful with information. We have rented several VRBO cabins before but enjoyed this one the most! We will return in the future!
Great Time for Our Family
Our family of five plus one guest had a great time. The cabin was very clean and had a homey feel to it as you walked in. The beds were comfortable and the location was excellent. The descriptions and photos accurately depicted the cabin and the owner gave us the needed information. We had a great Christmas skiing, snowboarding, tubing, eating, and also laying around the cabin. The hot tub was a wonderful plus too.

My husband and I rented this cabin for our trip to Maggie Valley for our 10 year anniversary. The cabin is beautiful!!! Everything but food was provided in this cabin. We were able to relax in a "feels like home" environment. Beautiful property, quiet and peaceful. Very close to shops and tourist attractions but still tucked up away from all the traffic. We were able to go out for a few hours and site see then return and put our feet up and enjoy a home cooked meal by the fireplace. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away for a few days and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation. We intend to use this cabin on our next visit up. Thank you for making our trip a wonderful experience!!!
