Description

Casa Emila is a nicely furnished ground level condo located in the Residencias Reef gated community on San Francisco Beach.
ONE-BEDROOM GEM. WONDERFUL LOCATION. ONE GREAT VACATION

Beyond the gated entrance into Residencias Reef, tucked inside a private oceanfront oasis, is your home away from home, Casa Emila. This grand ground-level unit has a patio that opens up to the manicured lawn and gardens, meandering pathways, and beautiful palm trees, adding to the ambiance of this private community.

The condo has been beautifully decorated from floor to ceiling. Up to four lucky vacationers can stay in this stunning condo—there’s a king-sized bed in the master suite and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.

The bathroom is exquisite too—plenty of modern touches, beautiful tile work in the walk-in shower, a double-sink vanity, and large mirrors make you feel just a little spoiled.

Each room is freshly painted in inviting and warm colors of Mexico with bright yellow and light moss green complementing the beauty of the turquoise Caribbean Sea just outside your patio door.

The décor of the open floor plan of the kitchen and living space is comfortable and unpretentious with interesting artwork, sand-colored floor tiles, curved granite countertops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.

From the bright and comfortable living room, you can slide open those big glass doors and walk out onto your private patios, which makes a great spot to take in the view of the beautiful community amenities.

There are plenty of other special touches your host has included, including Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a safe, and even a washer and dryer to keep those fun tropical clothes you brought along clean and fresh.

Casa Emila is housed within Residencias Reef, one of the most luxurious and well-maintained condominium complexes on the island. Your condo puts you just steps away from the private beach, where the sand is as white as the sea is blue. There are two freshwater pools that you are invited to use, and they are kept heated year-round. YouÂ’ll also have full use of the jacuzzi, SCUBA and snorkeling gear rinse tank, outdoor shower, and cozy palapas where you can enjoy a cold beverage in the shade.

You may never want to step a foot outside this private oasis, but if you do, downtown Cozumel is a quick 15-minute drive away. The oceanfront promenade has a vitality that is palpable—scores of tourists walk along the strip to visit the shops, restaurants, bars, duty-free stores, and local vendors at all hours of the day and night.

The waterfront is also where you will find a huge number of guides for SCUBA and snorkeling trips, deep-sea fishing, windsurfing, jet skiing and more. You can also catch the ferry with regular daily trips to and from Playa del Carmen.

ThereÂ’s only one place to stay and play on your next vacation: Casa Emila.

Wonderful stay at Casa Emila

Great lccation. Unit was lovely and clean. Easy drive to town and Caleta but arranged pick up on dock. Very quiet and private. Will be back for sure.

Our home away from home

We felt right at home in Casa Emila at Residencias Reef. As soon as we stepped out of the cab, someone that works on the property greeted us and showed us where the condo is located. It is a pretty large, gated complex with beautiful grounds, a couple of pools and right on the beach. The condo itself is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. One of the pools and the beach are steps away from the back porch. The porch has a nice jacuzzi tub and patio furniture. There is a pier close by that we walked to in the mornings for easy pick up and drop off on our dive trips. Carlos and Charlie's is also walking distance down the beach if you want to eat out and/or have a few drinks in a beach bar atmosphere. Downtown is about a 15 minute drive so you may want to consider a rental car if you plan on going out a lot. However, it would be very easy to spend your entire time at the complex. Especially if you stock the kitchen which I understand you can make arrangements with the property managers to take care of that in advance. I was happy to find that we had internet access about 95% of the time. Tips: Bring shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. There is a washer/dryer so if you think you'll do any laundry bring laundry detergent or pods. If you like cats bring cat food or plan to buy some when you get there. There are a couple roaming around, I am still crying over one that I became attached to. Consider taking a soft cooler and/or tervis type cups for drinks on the beach. Hubby says bring a bottle opener, he didn't like the one that was there.

lovely home

It was wonderfully quiet, with a great beach steps from the porch and pool. Dive boats, jet skis, beach club, come right up to where you are. Every one of the staff was very attentive and helpful, and made sure our stay was relaxing and we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. They even suggested fun or relaxation we didn't know about! The condo itself was very well taken care of and had everything we needed. Though it is farther from town, it's nice to have a quiet retreat from everything. Especially the day after the Ironman. Speaking of that, I wish I wasn't too sunburned to enjoy the massage service that comes to your room or can set up on the beach. Next time I'll get a massage for sure. Taxis are easy to get if you didn't rent a car like we did, or there is a short walk (5 minutes) north to a spot to rent scooters on the beach road, though I'm sure if I asked the entrance staff they would have had it brought right to the doorstep of our building.
