Casa de Cooper's Casita Romantica is a one bedroom villa that can comfortably accommodate between 1 - 3 guests. It is the perfect vacation home for an unforgettable romantic vacation or fun-filled holiday for a family of 3.

Guests of Casita Romantica benefit from the expertise of a professional bilingual meet & greet and concierge who will assist with every aspect of your stay, including pre-arrival planning.

The Space

The spacious master suite - the heart of the home - is located on the upper level of the house. It's outfitted with king bed, ensuite bathroom with a walk-in hot water shower and double vanity. The master suite also benefits from plenty of storage and hanging space and large flat screen TV.

Directly out the front door on the lower entry level is your private patio. You can start or end your day with a dip in the refreshing plunge pool with views across the valley.

Spend the day under the rancho lounging on the deck chairs, swinging in the hammock, napping or reading a good book.

At night grill up the day's catch of mahi-mahi or red snapper, or some of Nicaragua’s famous beef on your North American style gas BBQ.

Inside on the main level of Casita Romantica you'll find a fully stocked kitchen complete with every pot, pan, glass and utensil you might need to create a gourmet meal using fresh local Nicaraguan ingredients.

The comfortable and cozy living room includes an oversized futon, 2 large armchairs and flat screen TV. Indoor dining space is also provided for the evenings you would prefer to sit inside.

Also on this level is a 2nd full washroom with shower and easy access from the pool, kitchen and futon sleeping area.

Built from the material adobe Casita Romantica is a relaxed and comfortable space even during the heat of midday. It's elevation above town results in nearly constant cooling breezes.

Guest Access

Your Casita Romantica vacation includes access to 1 Pelican Eyes community pools. The Lap Pool is located a 5-minute walk from the casita and is open daily from 7 am to sundown.

Neighborhood

We are accessible from town on foot in 15 minutes for anyone with a good level of fitness. A 3-minute taxi ride to or from town makes the home ideal for all ages of guests at any fitness level.

Our central location provides easy access to the many in-town restaurants, bars, shops and nearby beaches.

The Augusto C Sandino International Airport in Managua is a 2.5 hour drive away. Alternately, you can fly into the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia. With border crossing travel time is approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Interaction

I live a couple minutes from the property. I am available before and during your stay to give advice, make reservations for excursions and provide any other assistance you may need. Our property manager Gabriel will be your meet & greet. He is onsite throughout the day Monday through Saturday.

Other things to note

Our cleaning staff is being extra diligent in disinfecting the property – before guests arrive and after guests depart -- with particular attention to high touch items and hard surfaces. To allow the extra time needed for this enhanced cleaning protocol, we will ensure a minimum of 24 hours between reservations.

The last 300 meters of the drive to Casita Romantica is uphill and unpaved. Extra care is required during rainy season, especially for guests arriving in a compact car.

We have an electricity allowance of 30 kilowatts per day. This is a sufficient amount to power the casita with responsible use of air conditioning in the bedroom at night. Electricity consumption over this amount will be charged at a rate of $0.50 USD per kilowatt hour.

We are pet friendly and allow one (1) well behaved dog providing it weighs 20 lbs or less. Pets must be registered at the time of booking.

Getting Around

Depending on the number of passengers and time of day of travel taxi fare to and from town ranges from $3 - $5 USD.

George’s place was amazing. We had such a lovely time. Location was pristine, right by town and easy to walk to restaurants and the beach. We rented an ATV in town which we used for our transportation. Place was very clean, bed comfortable. Awesome sunsets. Loved the shower! Would definitely stay again.

Casita Romantica is a beautiful unit on the bottom level Casa de Cooper. The place was better than the pictures. Absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I spent a lot of time on the rocking chairs outside of the bedroom admiring the scenery, and also down on the pool deck catching some sun and eating dinner by the pool. The onsite manager Gabriel is very friendly and helpful. There is a guard at the gate 24/7 so we always felt safe. There are other units attached so don’t expect privacy like you would a standalone house. It’s a short easy walk into town but the hike back up can be strenuous. We ended up renting a scooter to zip up and down the hill. Overall it was a great experience and we would love to return.

Friendly staff, spectacular views. Lovely space, great location and very safe and secure. Would definitely stay again.The only suggestion I’d have is proving olive oil for people to cook with in the kitchen.

Amazing views. 5 minutes from town. Pool area was amazing. Pool is 6ft deep in the middle. Out door shower was a +. Both bathrooms are huge! Hot water with strong water pressure. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked perfectly. You will love it.

We love our stay at "La casita romantica" La casita romantica. Gabriel, who welcomed us into the house was very friendly and communicative. The place is beautiful, perfect for two people whether it's friends or a couple. The toilet is exceptional, everything was in perfect condition and very clean, it was what we liked the most. Note: We loved the private pool. But it would be nice to find a way that there aren't so many toads inside it for the afternoon/evening. Since, we couldn't use it because there were about 20 in the pool. *But definitely for the day it's too worth it* We'll be back yes or yes. We loved our experience

The staff is incredibly helpful, communication was thoughtful and consistent, and the view is absolutely incredible. The spot is located at the top of Pelican Eyes - about a 20 minute walk into town. Wonderful stay for anybody looking to have a romantic getaway with easy access to the town and nearby beaches. We loved the Casita Romantica!

If you're looking for a place far from town to relax, without giving up all the comforts the city has to offer, this is a great place to do so.

If you're looking for a place far from town to relax, without giving up all the comforts the city has to offer, this is a great place to do so. Its location just a few minutes from downtown and the beach makes it perfect for going to restaurants and walking or taking a swim in the San Juan del Sur Bay. Everything was excellent too! The house was super clean and clean. The amenities inside the stay are also something to note: many very comfortable sofas, quite large bed, two spacious and clean bathrooms, spacious kitchen and with all the necessary appliances to make the stay very comfortable and pleasant. The pool was perhaps the only thing that could be better, the administrator told us that there was a problem with the filtering system that allowed the passage of the sea sand to the bottom of the pool, but the water was clean and treated. I truly congratulate the hosts for the attention and care that is noticeable in making the guests' stay as they call it a true "Romantic Casita".
