Solaris Beach House is a double-level luxury beachfront villa located on the beach between Holetown and the famous Mullins Beach. The villa is designed around outdoor living and has alfresco dining and living with a large private deck area. The deck has loungers, a cabana, a private bar, a games area with table tennis, and direct private access to the beach. International designer Celia Sawyer designed this modern eco-friendly villa.

Inside the villa are five en-suite double bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have direct sea views and a private balcony area.

Bedroom 1 has magnificent views over the sea. It has a super king bed, a large balcony area, a dressing room, a separate WC and a large modern bathroom with a shower bath and twin vanity units.

Bedroom 2, like bedroom 1, has superb sea views. It has a super king bed, a large balcony, a walk-in wardrobe, a large modern bathroom with twin vanity units, a large shower, and a WC.

Bedroom 3 is to the rear of the upper level and consists of a super king bed, a large cupboard with hanging and storage. There is a large bathroom with bath, shower and twin sinks.

Bedroom 4 is to the rear of the lower level and has a super king bed and a large cupboard with hanging and storage. There is a large modern bathroom with bath, shower and twin sinks.

Bedroom 5 is on the lower level to the rear of the house and has a super king bed. The modern bathroom consists of a shower, vanity unit and WC. There is hanging and storage space with a chest of draws.

Media Room. On the lower level to the front of the house is the interior living/media room. Designed for working or playing with a large screen, apple, and WD Live. There are also board games and a very comfortable sofa bed should it ever be needed. There is also a desk with a direct internet connection for those who need to work. The room benefits from the superb deck and sea views, so you need not miss looking at the sea even when working.

Gym / Fitness room located on the lower level; the gym offers a fitness bike, a treadmill, a selection of free weights, a bench, exercise mats, an exercise ball and a selection of fitness accessories.

Kitchen: Is very large and fully equipped with a reverse osmosis water supply, microwave, double oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, wine chiller, 240V toaster and Kettle, coffee percolator, and rice steamer.

Please note that the Tub and pool are not heated but stay warm—the Tub, in particular, as it is most of the day in full sunlight.

Cheryl and Joyanne are the housekeepers/ chefs and are included.

There is a clothes dryer in the utility room. The in-house team generally carry out all washing and drying.

The fitness room comprises a fitness bike- pre-programmable levels or manual (Kettler). A treadmill. pre-programable or manual (Kettler Arena). Free weights, bench, mats, fitness ball.

All linens are 100% Egyptian cotton unless otherwise requested.

A Barbados Beauty

Thank you for an amazing stay. Our family had a wonderful time. Cheryl is a gem, and we will truly miss her. Sadly the time flew by, but we definitely look forward to visiting again. I would highly recommend this property to any of my family and friends. On a side note… Nikita is also very sweet, but a little young and inexperienced for a villa of your standard. There were a few days that were hard to contact her. On our day of departure, she brought I believe to be the owners nieces to the villa to be show them around. We found it a bit awkward trying to settle up our stay while having them hovering about. It would have been more professional if she had brought them after we had checked out. All in all, we felt blessed being able to stay at your residence, and enjoy the kind and generous people of Barbados. Thank you again!

Platinum Coast Dream House

My family loved this home in Weston. It is spacious, the beds are comfortable and the location is accesible and easy to find. The backyard is gorgeous and feels out of a movie and it was lovely to be right on the water. The one downside is the gate and steps leading to the beach are quite worn and could use a refresh, however, that it to be expected of salt water exposure. As wonderful as the home is, Cheryl, the chef and housekeeper, is the true gem of the rental. Her cooking is only outdone by her warmth and kindness.

Stunning Property

This is a truly lovely property with amazing outdoor space. While it is considered beachfront, the tide doesn’t allow for access much of the day. We didn’t intend to use the hot tub, but it was located in the perfect spot and was not heated, so it was very comfortable all times of the day. The openness of the living space made it ideal for being outside all day and evening without being in the direct sun. We didn’t ever use the indoor living room. Property concierge was fantastic, as well as the housekeeper. Would definitely return.

More Than We Could Have Asked For!!!

Camden Nook was everything it was said to be and more! Beautiful house and views. The beach is perfection. Cheryl was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Really the only thing I would have changed was the work next door but not a big deal. We had a wonderful vacation and would love to go back! Our hosts made it a memorable stay. Thank you!

Blue Ocean, Fish, and Rum..oh my!

Overall, my family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camden Nook. The location was magnificent- with the ocean at our backdoor and a local fish market and Rum bar just steps away. Our children enjoyed the many nearby beaches- all with beautiful, white sand and warm, blue water. Camdem Nook was well appointed and was suitable for the family. Melinda, the house "assistant" was also wonderful. The only constructive criticism we have is that there were some items at the home that need attention and, had they been corrected, it would have given us an overall better experience. The main one is the hot tub, which was inoperable the entire week- none-the-less, it was still advertised as a nice feature of the property. Other small things like fallen down landscaping lights and general "quality" of the home. Nothing major...we could simply tell this was a rental property and not one's primary residence. Again, this property and location worked for our family and we came away with a wonderful Barbados vacation experience and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for the accommodations!

Location, Location, Location ...

The villa is located in the perfect position, five minutes from Speightstown to the north and Holetown to the south. All the best restaurant's are within a twenty minute drive, The Cliff, the Lone Star, Daphne's and Tides. The Limes shopping centre in Holetown is only a 5 minute drive, this is also the same for the Supercentre supermarket which is situated opposite the Limes. The villa is situated on one of the best beaches in Barbados, it is quiet and unspoilt , we were able to swim with turtles just outside the villa gates !! We also had regular early morning visits from green monkeys running along the fence and through the garden. Not forgetting to mention the villa comes with the best housekeeper and cook. Rosemary is a truly remarkable lady and made our family feel very much at home from day one.

Paradise

Camden Nook ! What a place ! we had a fantastic time we swam and snorkelled on our own reef outside the villa from sunrise to sun set, the kids had the time of their lives just playing on the beach all day. The villa garden and deck area became our living room we sat out each evening and took in the tranquil sky's with the accompaniment of the the sea breaking on the beach at the bottom of the garden. We swam with the turtles and took jet skis along to Wholetown. The local fishermen and inhabitants where very friendly and kind to us and helped us with making deals on the boat trips and jet ski hire with the local beach vendors. We bought fish from there local market and fruit from the stall next door all at very reasonable prices. At evening times we sat out on the porch drinking Rosemary's rum punch, which is the best and we drank many bottles. Rosemary is the house matron and she makes the best rum punch in Barbados she is a very kind and thoughtful women who made our stay most happy and memorable, she invited us into her family and into her church and we took her into our hearts, she made the most fantastic evening meals which would have cost a fortune in the restaurants further down the beach. The house manager Andrew is a very kind man who give us much information on where to go and to eat and he made sure we had everything we wanted and that our stay most pleasant. We married on the beach just out side the garden gate Thank you to Nick and Celia for allowing us to sample paradise. We will return soon Sonja and Norman

“An amazing experience in Barbados.

“An amazing, "like a local" experience in Barbados.” We had a great stay at Camden Nook for our wedding and honeymoon. The house is ideally located on the west coast, north of Holetown. So you are close to all the good restaurants, bars, beaches and so on. From the moment we arrived, we we extremely well taken care of by Rosemary, the housekeper. She was there to greet us upon arrival and was always around when we needed her...and not when we didn't. Her fresh grilled fish lunches and special rum punch were some of the highlights. Not to mention she was especially helpful to my wife and her girlfriends for their preparations on our wedding day. I can say that based on stories from our friends, none of their housekeepers came even close to being as welcoming and efficient. Also, we took Nick, the owner's advice and got in touch with Trident Wines. Moment's after arriving, Emir had us stocked up with any kind of beverage we could possibly need. Also, they supplied the drinks for our wedding and even referred us to an amazing caterer/chef (Cressida Dawson). So simply put, we were able to immediately kick back and enjoy the holiday and the beach - which is right out the door. We felt like locals from the first hour. That's how a holiday should be.

Camden Nook

We had a wonderful time at the villa. The beach is calm and wonderful for kids. There is wonderful local culture right at the beach with fishermen hauling their fresh catch of the day. Andrew, the manager, was a gracious host and always available to answer any questions. Rosemary cleaned up beautifully and was very friendly with us and the children. The wifi at the house was a great bonus and so was the magic jack! Please do bring mosquito repellent if you don't like the AC on in your rooms!
