Amazing hosts, amazing locatuin
We have just returned from an amazing week ana and jose are wonderful, can’t do enough for you. The house is in a lovely location close to the village where you will find a pizzeria, restaurant and supermarket. The property is in a good location to see all the wonderful sights of the island! i would love to come back and visit again! i would 100% recommend this property

nice house
We found this house on a last minute basis...our tickets were already in for a trip to sao miguel ...but we had no accomodation. Turned out that we found ourselves a really nice location in a quiet village about 25min. from the city. The house had all the ammenities for travellers like us who mostly just require a good bed and a kitchen to cook. Our teenage daughter really appreciated her spacious room ( we did too) and also the available wifi. This house is in a village just under one of the tourist highlights of sao miguel...i.e. sete cidades so this was an added bonus. We received a very good welcome and were treated to a very hospitable stay by Ana ( the house owner) and her family. I would definitely recommend this place for a family stay

Our wonderful stay in Sao Miguel
Ana and Jose where the most awesome hosts you can have. Even though we arrived very early in the morning Jose was at the airport to pick us up. Upon arriving at the house we where greeted by Ana who showed us around the house, there was a bottle of wine on the table for us and a vase full of freshly cut hydrangeas. We stayed in the newly built cottage that had a beautiful covered deck, looking at the flower garden. They where so helpful with planning our next day adventure. Ana was always interested in finding out how our day was. They brought us fresh watermelon, grapes and she made us bean soup, being portuguese I love soup. We also rented a car from them, it's much cheaper that way, it was a diesel and it was great on fuel. It's a great location, very quiet. Thank you so much for making our trip so enjoyable, we wish that we had stayed longer on the island we feel that we rushed and didn't have time to see it all. I guess we will have to go back.
