Description

La Quintana de Vielgos, a traditional house on the Asturian coast. A place full of peace to spend a few days in a relaxed atmosphere as a couple or surrounded by friends and family. A large house with spacious rooms with a thoughtfully decorated and surrounded by a beautiful garden with corners for reading, playing or relaxing.
In a privileged setting between the sea and the mountain, a small corner on the banks of the Cantabrian Sea.
Parties and events are not allowed in our home.

The space
Our home is on the coast of the province of Asturias, specifically in Argüero, a small village in the marina of Villaviciosa.

The traditional construction and furnishings give it a special charm, the careful garden that surrounds it and the landscape that you can enjoy from it, with all the comforts inside will provide you with unforgettable days.

It is a large house where there is space inside for 10 people, although it can be expanded by opening the second floor up to a maximum of 16 people.

It is divided into 3 floors where you will have all the comforts, starting with the common areas, such as:

Located in the corridor on the first floor, THE KITCHEN connects to THE DINING room, which has 2 large tables and their set of chairs as well as kitchenware so you can enjoy breakfasts, meals or dinners for groups of up to 16 people. Next door is the kitchen, which has appliances and kitchenware to make the best recipes.

Several halls, one of which is located on the ground floor, a lounge area with fireplace and television; while the one on the first floor has a library.

4 common bathrooms, one of which is downstairs, and one in the attic. The other two are located in the two room areas on the first floor.

The attic divided into 2 large rooms with its bathroom, which allow you to prepare multiple rooms with which to complete the maximum capacity.

In low season, only part of the house can be rented as the rooms are divided into two
independent apartments. In this case, the other apartment is closed, in no case is the use of accommodation shared.

The first apartment, El Limonero, can accommodate 4 people and consists

of: 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a couple of single beds. One full bathroom.

The second apartment sleeps 6, is El Magnolio and has:

3 double bedrooms, one of which has a queen bed, and the remaining 2, with a couple of twin beds. One full bathroom.

Outside, we have:

Portal covered with furniture.
Very spacious and well-kept garden, with swings and several corners with furniture.

We were two families with children aged between 11 and 13 staying at Maria’s and Juanjo’s house for 4 days over New Year. I can’t say enough good things about our hosts, the surroundings and the house itself.

The perfect house, with warm and welcoming hosts,

The perfect house, with warm and welcoming hosts, for our group of three families (with five teenagers) to enjoy a week’s holiday together. The garden, with its different areas for sitting, dining, reading and playing was the highlight and we enjoyed every aspect of it during our sunny week, including the bbq. The second kitchen/dining room downstairs was cool even on hot days and many hours were spent having lazy lunches. We did less exploring of the area than planned because we were so happy to stay home!

Maria and Juanjo are a charming and helpful couple, they live in the area and were at our disposal at all times. The accommodation is as shown in the photos, we find welcome details from the hosts and it is located in a quiet and very nice area.
