New & updated!! Oakwater Resort is a superbly located vacation resort community, just 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World. Nearby-world class attractions include Animal Kingdom, Epcot Center, Universal Studios, Sea World, ESPN complex, and Disney Springs. This peaceful and gated community has beautifully maintained grounds, a year-round heated zero-entry pool, hot tub, tennis courts, children's splash area, playground, clubhouse, games room, and fitness facility!

The space

This second-floor townhouse is just steps from the Oakwater Clubhouse, year-round heated pool and hot tub! Super convenient! We have outfitted the 1400+ sq ft property with all NEW furniture, hotel quality linens, 4 smart tvs, smart lock, and a new AC. All beds have high quality mattresses! (No futons and pullout couches!) We also installed designer, commercial grade, flooring in all 3 bedrooms. All other floors are tiled. (No carpet!) The unit has a personal router with high-speed internet for the exclusive use of our guests.

You are invited to enjoy your morning coffee on the screened patio. This lovely sitting area, overlooking the pool, is accessible from both the living room and master bedroom. The newly painted property, with high ceilings, is fully equipped to make your stay like home. Between stays, we professionally clean and sanitize all linens and surfaces. This is a pet-free and smoke-free property due to our family having severe allergies.

We prioritize guests who appreciate the steps we take to ensure a 5-star guest experience and assure us that they will take care nice care of our property. We take pride in our excellent reviews, especially as it pertains to cleanliness. This is a private home and personally managed by the owner. The owner is an experienced Superhost who owns and manages a second Airbnb vacation property in Galena, Illinois in the Galena Territory. A previous property was owned in Miramar Beach, FL.

Guest access

The Oakwater resort is conveniently located near a Super Walmart with many dining and shopping options close by. The nearest airport is Orlando International Airport, 19 miles from the property. An Uber/taxi from the airport is approximately $65 each way.

Other things to note

We utilize a ring door bell and remote key system such that guests have a unique code assigned to access to our property. Prior to arrival, driver's license, license plate number/car registration, and all guest names and ages need to be provided to the owner. Oakwater security enforces strict parking rules (no campers, RVs) and no overnight parking without a parking pass. Space for second car available.

The pool is open daily 8:00AM - 10:00PM. Note: Sometime between 8-10am (M-F), there is a closure for cleaning. The gym is open 8:00AM - 6:00PM. Earlier gym hours may be available. Contact the host, if needed.

I highly recommend Rhonda's property. The location is perfect, close to Disney parks and next to Wallmart. The space is very nice, spacious and nice. The host gave us full attention. I will definitely be back. You can definitely rent this property.

This listing is the best bang for the buck! The listing is advertised as shown and Rhonda was an extremely responsive host (probably one of the most responsive and proactive hosts I've experienced). The place was also extremely clean and Rhonda did a great job communicating all the check-in and check-out instructions and was available on call through the holiday season when we visited Disney World. Highly recommend this place and would come back!

The location was superb.

The location was superb. It was so nice at the end of a long day at the parks to be such a very short drive away! The hot tub was only steps away to relax and recover in after all the park walking! Most definitely recommend!

Paradise! is the phrase that best describes Rhonda's condo at the Oakwater Resort. The pool and spa/hot tub could literally not have been any closer. The spacious condo itself with all of its comforts and necessities -- and then some -- was an oasis for us after running around Harry Potter World and then Disney. The Wal-Mart right next door and such a convenient, pleasant walk made our lives so easy. Rhonda was a terrific host. We cannot say enough about how happy were were to have found this place.

I stayed with my wife and two teenage daughters for over a week. the 50m walk to the pool, the fantastic layout of the apartment and site. the proximity to a Walmart and restaurants and the parks. made this the perfect locaion and enhanced our long stay over from the UK. the place was well stocked with kitchen equipment, necessities, towels, spacious and super clean. the host was awesome too. Rhonda was a FANTASTIC host, she answered any questions promptly and did everything she could for us! The home is very well kept up and extremely clean, furniture was very nice, kitchen had everything you need to enjoy cooking while on vacation, bathrooms were spotless, beds and linens we clean and very comfortable! Outside was beautiful, we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool and spa area. We felt very secure in this location and right at home! This stay was definitely a 10/10 and we will most definitely be back to Rhonda’s home again in the future!
