Malaga City. El Palo, Family Beach House, 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms .

HOUSE Ideally located set back from the Paseo Maritimo of El Palo (second line) so avoiding all the noise yet just a few meters from the beach and all the bars and restaurants. The house is in a typical fisherman's area. On three floors.

Ground floor, Kitchen,Family bathroom, Sitting room. There is a cupboard under the stairs that holds beach chairs, umbrellas , buckets and spades, Bats and Balls, Beach towels and mats.

Second floor,3 bedrooms all with air conditioning and shower room.

Third floor utility room with second kitchen area and terrace with table and chairs and swinging Hammock .The terrace is partially glassed in with sliding windows so you can eat outside all year round.You can go up again to the top terrace which also has a table and chairs plus sun bed.It is an ideal spot to watch the sun set with a glass of wine .

It has views over the bay of Malaga.

Fibre optic internet connection . Air conditioning in all rooms .

Smart tv with all Spanish and English channels plus Amazon Prime .

The twin bedroom is quite small so more suitable for 2 children or 1 adult.

Although it is requested that you don't smoke inside the house it is ok to do so on the terrace.

Beaches: The beaches in front of the house are made up of little coves so ideal for children.

Binoculars are available to watch the ships and occasional Dolphins !

During the summer months it is extremely difficult to find a parking space.

Its a 20 minute bus ride into the centre of Malaga , buses run every 5 minutes its a 4 minute walk to the bus stop and the shops .

A taxi can be booked for transport to and from the airport at a cost of €35.

Great property in ideal location

This characterful property suited us ideally and was just as listed. We like the area as it avoids the mass tourist bits of the Costa del Sol. Barbara, the owner, was on hand when needed - but was never intrusive. Felt very safe, The roof terrace had views to die for.

Liebevolles Haus in toller Lage

Das Haus von Barbara ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet für bis zu 6 Personen alles was man braucht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und auch für den Strand sind viele Dinge wie Schirme, Stühle, Spielzeug bereits vorhanden. Die Lage zum Strand ist top! In der näheren Umgebung findet man viele Restaurants und eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit! Malaga ist mit dem Bus ca. 30 Minuten, mit dem Taxi ca. 15 Minuten etnfernt erreichbar.

Sehr schönes Haus

Ein komplettes Haus in toller Lage wenige Meter vom Strand in El Palo in Malaga. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziges Problem waren die Treppen. Da mussten wir gut auf unsere 2 jährige Enkeltochter aufpassen. Insgesamt ein sehr entspannter Urlaub.

Excellente!!!

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine pendant le mois de juillet. La maison est située à deux pas de la plage, ce qui est très practique avec des enfants en bas âge. Il y a plein de petits restaurants sur le bord de mer qui servent principalement de plats typiques: sardines, fritures de poisson, cuits devant vous dans sur un feu d’amandier. Le centre ville de Málaga est accessible facilement tant en voiture comme en bus. La maison en elle même est très bien équipée, même avec des affaires de plage: chaises, parasol, jeux pour enfants. Nous avons apprécié prendre le petit déjeuner dans la terrasse au deuxième et l’apéro ou le digestif dans la terrasse sur le toit, avec vue sur la mer. La propriétaire est très aimable, elle nous a donné plein de conseils pour bien nous repérer dans les environs. Elle a eu aussi la gentillesse de nous commander un taxi pour notre départ tôt le matin. À très bon choix pour nos vacances!!

Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man ist tatsächlich in zwei Minuten am Strand. Die Vermieterin hat Strandstühle und man hat auf dem Balkon eine Hollywoodschaukel und Meerblick.

Great house and a great and helpful host

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely house near the beach very much. Everything in the house was perfect and Barbara was very helpful if we had something questions.

Superbly equipped, the owner has thought of everything-even teddy bears awaited my g'children

The property is large and flexible for a large family ; we were 6. It was clean , comfortable and convenient. So, there were 2 bathrooms and given the property had 4 floors there were 2 kitchens. One led on to a veranda, there was an even higher veranda for the real sun worshippers. This latter was a great spot to watch sunsets with a glass of wine. We took most of our meals on the first veranda;,which could be beautifully shaded. The site is superb , we were literally 2 mins from the sea. El Palo has one of the best beaches : it is sandy and the sea shallow enough for a decent way out and our young g'children were safe there. We went in the Whitsun half term and the beaches were very quiet -apart from Sundays. The area has some decent cafes and restaurants; given it was a fishing village ,sea food is high on the menu. The owner has several pages of advice for guests. She maps the local supermarkets (small), health centres, bus stops , local markets etc, etc . The owner lives next to the house and whilst not being intrusive , is ready to help when asked. The house is equipped with everything you need for a family holiday . There is a cupboard full of beach ware . Chairs, umbrellas ,swim tubes ,buckets and spades etc etc ; you wont need to fill your cases with things for the beach. Elsewhere, there are cupboards full of towels . pillows .duvets etc. There is even a lending library of paperbacks and a kind of oyster card for the local buses. We did not hire a car .Taxis were cheap and buses to Malaga dirt cheap, frequent and took us in comfort the 20 mins the journey took. I cannot recommend this house and area more . Weather was great .hot but with a lovely sea breeze. We had a wonderful time and the house enabled us to spread out or come together ,particularly on its wonderful veranda. This is a tourist area but mainly a Spanish area: bring a phrase book.

Comfortable and Relaxing - Fabulous!

The property was perfect for the three of us, not a typical sparse and bland holiday rental but more of a holiday home. It was very well equipped and the outdoor space was fabulous. I only used the downstairs shower but it is the best shower I have ever had on holiday! I drew the long straw and got the master bedroom. You have to walk through the second bedroom to get upstairs but this wasn't a problem for us and the third bedroom is really for children, but again, not a problem. The location was as described and just what we were looking for. There are loads of fantastic fish restaurants, very reasonably priced, nearby but if you're not a fish lover you might find it difficult to find anything suitable on the menus. Malaga is lovely and gave us an excuse to dress up on a couple of evenings and eat lots of tapas. It is easily accessible by bus. I would definitely recommend it, the immediate area is very casual and very Spanish.

A wonderful home away from home in the sun

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this charming house. Fantastically situated almost right on the beach. Very clean, cozy, quiet, well equipped and personal. We felt at home immediately! The area, El Palo, appeals to us as it is authentic/not touristy and you can take long, wonderful walks in the Spanish sun along the seaside, enjoy Spanish food at a seaside or local taverna or just soak in the atmosphere. (Plenty of places to buy food if you prefer to cook at home in the amply equipped kitchen.) Easy access to the local bus into the center when you wish to explore Malaga. Definitely a place I would recommend. We are already planing another stay there and are very much looking forward to enjoying the house and the fantastic service given by the hostess.

Great view and a friendly neighbourhood.

Together with our two adult sons and a daughter in law we spent the Christmas in Barbaras wonderfull house . The house was just perfect for us with good space and all you wish for making your own food,. The master bedroom was nice and light as everything in the house was clean and tidy. We spent a lot of hours reading , drinking coffee and looking at the sea from the roof terrace The neighbourhood is very charming and calm with a fantastic promenade which leads to Malaga in one direction. It takes about an hour to walk . In El Palo you find good restaurants, supermarket and a relaxing atmosphere. The day before departure we walked east to Rincon de la Victoria. A beautifull walk as near to the sea as possible.In Rincon there are cafes and good restaurants. You can take the bus back. This visit seems like the beginning of a spanish adventure for us. So much to see and we will certainly come back one day. Barbara is a very friendly and helpfull landlady. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

A perfect week in november

We just spent a lovely week in Barbara's house. It is a very nice house, close to the sea and well equiped. Having breakfast every morning out on the terrace gives you the real holiday feeling !! Although it was already november but we could still swim in the sea. The area is just like the description on the side; there is no nightlife or disco's but very friendly locals and nice restaurants. It is a perfect place for a calm holiday in a really spanish area.
