The kitchen provides a homely feel with a fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, oven and hob. The living room gives the perfect place to relax with 3 seater sofa and large comfy chair alongside a large flatscreen TV whilst also allowing space for a small dining table seating 4. The bathroom has a large walk in rain shower which is ideal for relaxing after a long day at the beach.

The breathtaking views from the living room windows give this apartment the WOW factor making it the perfect stay for anyone wanting to explore Whitby/Sandsend.

Such a beautiful relaxing flat, looking out to the sea. The accommodation is great straight onto the beach and everything you want. It is a stunning quiet area with the bus that you can catch straight into Whitby very often.

Beautiful place, very clean and tidy. Apartment was cosy, warm and the view of the sea was mesmerising. We have a 2 year old and an 8 year old and their room was great, so quiet. When we visit Yorkshire again, we will be booking this little gem if it's available!!! Thanks for a lovely addition to our memories..

We had a fantastic stay at The Lookout.

We had a fantastic stay at The Lookout. The flat was very well equipped and had beautiful views. We managed to get a free car parking space outside for the duration of our stay which we were not expecting as we thought it would be busy over Easter. Debra was excellent with communication and was very proactive. We hope to visit again soon!

The Lookout was such a great place for a relaxing break. It is perfectly placed for walking and fresh sea air and we just loved sea watching from the window and listening to the sea was so relaxing. We feel very lucky to have found The Lookout and will return, it is the perfect size for the two of us and has everything you could need.

Great location with a view no one would ever tire of!

Great location with a view no one would ever tire of! Very comfortable accommodation for a family of 4 with everything you’d need for a short stay away. Great local pub grub in walking distance along with coffee shop and shop on the beach front. A short drive (or walk along the beach) to Whitby and Whitby Abbey. Overall, a great 2 nights away with the family exploring the area - a trip we’ll never forget.

Overall a great stay, apartment was really lovely, lots of nice touches, beautifully decorated and felt really homely and welcoming in a really good way. Sea views were fabulous, even the three year old was taken with staring out the window and watching the waves. We were extremely lucky with the weather which made the experience even more enjoyable. Accommodation was lovely and clean. The drawbacks were; the main bedroom mattress was uncomfortable and needs changing, the coffee machine was not working and the booking asks for a checkout for 9am which is a little early.

This is a beautiful apartment in a cracking location.

This is a beautiful apartment in a cracking location. We stayed in October half term and it was warm, cosy and quiet. The beach is on the doorstep and there is so much to do in the local area, but my daughters (aged 6 and 9) loved skimming stones, hunting in the rock pools and having a hot chocolate and a cake in the lovely beach cafe, all right outside the front door. Would thoroughly recommend.

Stunning location, beautiful flat with everything you would need for your stay. Flat is well lit, beautiful views and very well maintained - location is ON the beach (as near as can be!), short walk to shops and pub/restaurant - and bus to Whitby itself is 1 min away and takes 15 mins. HIGHLY recommended :)

Perfect location.

Perfect location. Literally on the doorstep of the beach. It’s a fantastic beach. The kids loved it. Whitby only a short drive away.
