Description

Storm Cottage is neatly tucked away just next to the old swing bridge in the centre of Whitby, it has many original features and is furnished in a modern contemporary way mxing the old with the new. Sleeping 2 people with bedding and towels provided this offers an idyllic escape.

The ground floor has a sitting room with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and washing machine and access to a small courtyard with outdoor seating.

On the first floor there is a large shower room and a dressing room. The second floor has a king size bed, ipod docking station/alarm and stunning bespoke chandelier.

2 night stays at the owners discretion out of season.

Great place location wise.

Great place location wise. Clean and tidy property and just a stones throw from all amenities. Just lacked that view but we knew that when we booked it. Host was superb proactive and responsive. Thank you for letting us stay.

We loved our short stay in Storm Cottage.

We loved our short stay in Storm Cottage. A little gem of a find in the heart of Whitby. Very comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and a spacious dressing room. (Oh I miss that dressing room!) Close to restaurants, bars and some very quaint little shops. You really don’t need to go far but great base if you love to walk. Definitely one to visit again.

Nice place in a fun location.

Nice place in a fun location. Needs thicker curtains /blinds as once the sun's up the room is too bright for sleep. Bathroom could do with a bit of touching up. Parking is not easy, once we finally found a space we didn't dare leave it so paid £9 a day and got the bus instead. Which is actually best as parking is a problem all along the coast.

We booked Deb’s place after our initial booking elsewhere was cancelled last minute. Deb was so quick to respond to my queries and we booked straight away saving our holiday! The location of the cottage was perfect and right in the centre of the town. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed, Netflix was a great touch. All in all; great host, location and reasonably priced. Thank you!

Great cottage in an incredible location close to the shambles and also to the Abbey steps. Loads of pubs and cafes at hand as well. The check-in process was a breeze as well. Thought the checkout time of 9:30 was a little early though.
