This expansive retreat boasts a communal living space with a triple-height kitchen, three reception rooms, an outdoor kitchen, and a living area featuring a pizza oven and BBQ. Stay warm with full central heating, underfloor heating in the kitchen, three wood burners, and an open fire. Enjoy a Sonos sound system throughout the house and unwind in the cinema room.
Indulge in high-powered showers and luxuriate in top-quality beds and linen. The house is situated on its own 16 acres of land, offering a true connection with nature in a luxurious setting.
Far from the hustle and bustle, this property is set in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, evolving over the past five years as our pet project. Original features like flagstone floors and inglenook fireplaces blend seamlessly with contemporary design and art. The heart of the house is the enormous kitchen, connected to the outdoors through expansive glass windows and doors. A five-oven Aga produces the perfect toast, while a vintage oak table seats 12 and a concrete wood burner adds a modern touch. Indoor and outdoor living harmonize with a purpose-built outdoor kitchen and a large Mediterranean-style seating/chilling area.
Whether basking in the sun or finding solace in communal spaces during gloomier weather, this farm has it all. The five bedrooms offer comfortable beds, and the four bathrooms feature wonderful megaflow-fed showers. Enjoy breathtaking views of open countryside from the bedrooms.
As avid cooks, we've cultivated our passion for growing fruit and vegetables, revitalizing the vegetable patch, adding fruit cages, more trees, and a large polytunnel. A 3.5-acre orchard planted in 2019 promises future delights. When not tending to our crops, a fantastic local gastropub is just over a mile away, complementing the vibrant food scene that initially drew us to this area.
The entire space, including the kitchen, dining area, snug, drawing room, cinema room, utility room, five beds, four baths, outdoor kitchen, two outdoor terraces, and 16 acres of beautiful countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is yours to explore.
Note: For security, a ring monitor doorbell and exterior security camera are in place.

We couldn’t wish for a better place for a weekend away with family and friends. Matt’s beautiful house is full of character, very well designed, and absolutely stunning. Everything is very functional and very convenient. Matt had thought of everything one may need for when away. We had absolutely everything we needed and more. Every little thing was thought of, he even supplied the stick on black out blinds for the kids room. There were lots of games in the house, great play area for the kids. Very comfortable beds, excellent quality linen and towels. It felt like home. The grounds are beautiful. We really enjoyed the extra communal space, including cinema room, play room, cosy sitting room. The open plan kitchen living room was great for entertainment. The house is full of art, beautiful antiques and unique interior pieces. The only regret we have is that we only booked for the weekend. We would happily stay there a week. We look forward to coming back again.

A fantastic place!
A fantastic place! Perfect if you have kids and dogs. Matthew the host was abroad when we stayed but his communication was fantastic - quick responses and sent through lots of useful videos before we arrived. We left an item of clothing behind when we left and the housekeeper went out of her way to post it back to us on the same day. Would highly recommend and will certainly look to book again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Matt’s place. It’s really homely with everything you could need to relax. We went for lovely walks with the family in the gardens and surrounding fields. Thank you. Gorgeous place.

A simply gorgeous,
A simply gorgeous, stylish, well equipped property with huge grounds set in beautiful countryside. We had young grandchildren with us and the house was full of toys, Lego, games and dressing up clothes etc etc which made it such a memorable stay for them. Matt was an unbelievable host so generous with his time and support. Thank you Matt, we had an absolutely fabulous holiday!
