Description
As the name suggests, the apartments are located directly on the car-free Saarweg. On this bike path along the Saar, you can reach the Saarwiesen Merzig in 15 minutes by bike. There are many attractions & leisure activities for young and old to spend an eventful day.
Drive the Saarweg in the northern direction and you can reach the worth seeing Saarschleife in about 30 minutes.
The space
The apartment on Saarweg was completely rebuilt and the work was completed in March 2021.
A bright, spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms awaits you.
Outside there is a barbecue with seating for 6 people.
Guest access
A public parking lot with ample parking is located directly in front of the building.

As a Saarland Card host, you will receive the Saarland Card free of charge for the period of your stay.

We spent an extended weekend with friends in Kornelia's apartment
We spent an extended weekend with friends in Kornelia's apartment. The apartment is tastefully furnished and equipped to a high quality. A bottle of local apple juice and mineral water were available for refreshment. We were able to use the covered seating area outside the entrance door in the most beautiful summer weather. The entire host family was very friendly and helpful and always had valuable excursion tips ready. A storage facility for our 4 bicycles was provided. As a nice surprise there was a delicious strawberry cake on the terrace table on the 1st morning. Thank you again for this!

Beautifully spacious, luxurious and clean apartment with central location. Unfortunately, we did have some inconvenience from construction work and we did not receive the Saarland card either. Owner is friendly. Do be difficult to communicate through Airbnb. Maybe better to contact them directly. Furthermore, a coat rack was missing, but a lot of closet space and self resolved with the laundry rack. Despite the downsides, well worth the booking!
