The space
The guesthouse is located on the first floor of the residence. The house has been family-owned for over 150 years and has been continuously renovated. The property is very spacious with its well-kept garden and invites you to enjoy. We have some chickens and ducks that can go well in part of the garden.

Other things to note
The town of Amelinghausen is in the heart of the Lüneburg Heath. After a few kilometers you can reach the first continuous heathlands, the Schwindebecker, Rehrhofer Heide as well as the Marxener Paradise with many beautiful juniper bushes.
Amelinghausen itself offers many shopping opportunities such as Edeka, Netto, Penny and Aldi as well as various bakers and a very good country butchery, which also offers a great lunch. Doctors, pharmacy and drugstore are also available. You can also easily walk to a bike rental, which also offers e-bikes. Various restaurants as well as ice cream parlors and cafes ensure your physical well-being.
Around Amelinghausen you can enjoy the beautiful hiking and cycling trails through the forest and hallway.
We are centrally located – Lüneburg can be reached in 20 minutes and Hamburg in about 45 minutes. The Soltau Heath Park and the outlet center located there can also be reached quickly. However, the central location of our guesthouse is also shown that rush hour runs by early in the morning. Noise-sensitive guests have been able to enjoy their stay with us in the guesthouse with the window closed and thus hide the morning sounds.

Our guesthouse offers plenty of space – we have 2 single bedrooms with 1.40 m beds and 4 double bedrooms, all individually furnished and sometimes even with a balcony overlooking the garden. All rooms, two bathrooms and the shared kitchen are on one floor and can be entered via a separate entrance. Our house is booked by families and groups. The large garden invites you to barbecue, chill and play. Dogs are also allowed to move freely there, as a large part is fenced. If the weather is not so great during your stay, you can of course use the large breakfast room with adjoining conservatory to relax.
On request, we offer a rich breakfast with eggs from our own happy chickens. For this, we additionally charge €7.50.
You can store your bicycles in our garages with the possibility to recharge the batteries of your e-bikes.
Once we rent a room through airbnb, the calendar shows "occupied" – but that's not always the case. Try it anyway or ask by phone.
We strive to make the stay of all guests as beautiful as possible and are very much looking forward to your visit.
