Modern apartment in the old electrical substation

Description

My accommodation is suitable for couples, business travelers, families (with children), and larger groups. Bathed in sunlight with 60 large windows and a tower room. Conveniently accessible by public transportation. 5 min. to the bus stop. 15 minutes to the S-Bahn. With the S-Bahn you are in the center of Berlin in 20 min. Good shopping options. Only 5 minutes away there is a bakery, a butcher, a vegetable garden, a supermarket, a hairdresser, eateries and much more.

The space
The house is situated in the middle of a dune from the last ice age, surrounded by forest. If you walk from the house through the forest, you'll find a small recreational area.

Guest access
If no one is in the apartment at the time of your arrival, the apartment key will be in a key-safe directly at the door, and the code will be given to you beforehand. There is staircase leading from the apartment to the garden and a large terrace with a grill area. In the basement, there is a small wine cellar.

We (family with two children - 18 and 13) had five lovely days in the property and in Berlin.

We (family with two children - 18 and 13) had five lovely days in the property and in Berlin. The location is just outside of Berlin-Mitte, but in a secluded location. The S-Bahn station is within walking distance within 10/15 minutes and from there you can easily get to Berlin's attractions within 20 - 30 minutes.

Great location to come home from the busy city center of Berlin in the middle of the greenery. Accessibility from the highway is very easy. Exploring the city is very easy from this beautiful location both by bike and S Bahn. The house is also walk distance to various restaurants and supermarkets.

My international friend's and I stayed at Josef's lovely flat for 3 nights

My international friend's and I stayed at Josef's lovely flat for 3 nights, with the priority being quality time together, as we had not seen eachother for over 5 years. The place is exactly the same as the photos, with plenty of open communal spaces, a well-equipped kitchen for cooking meals together, and good shower and bathroom. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, with lovely nature surrounding it, but also with shops 2 minutes walk away and even a slightly hidden away bowling alley (10/10 would recommend, but they don't speak any English, so bear that in mind). We didn't have a car, but the nearest S Bahn station was a pleasant 10-12 minute walk away, and we could be in central Berlin within 30 minutes from there. We would definitely recommend the place for groups of friends, or small families looking for a good home-base from which to have a long weekend getaway!
