The space
The so called „Mirror Apartment“ is located on the ground floor and on the second floor of an classic Berlin apartment building close to main train station and the Fritz-Schloss park.
The name of the apartment is derived from a very big mirror. The two floors are connected via an internal larch wood stair. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms a big living room and 5 bedrooms. All bedrooms have queen size beds and there are two additional mobile beds for two more quests. The kitchen has a modern stove, dishwasher, a big fridge with integrated freezer, coffee brewer, water cooker and much more. The window view on the backyard is like a look back in the history of this part of Berlin and shows the old brick building of a two storey horse stable, which belongs to the black smith workshop around the corner.

The apartment is located in the North of the Tiergarten Park in the lively but not to crowdy part called "Stephankiez".

Parties or celebrations are not allowed.

The next underground station (Birkenstrasse) and the next S-Bahn station (Westhafen) are about 700 meters away. Bus stops of the line 123 are about 300 meters from the apartment, which takes you in a few minutes to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). From there the political city centre with Reichstag building and Brandenburg Gate are easy to reach.

The Berlin administration requires a registration for overnight guests.

We had an absolutely fantastic family stay at the Spiegel/Mirror flat

We had an absolutely fantastic family stay at the Spiegel/Mirror flat. There is enormous space, with a huge living room, 5 double bedrooms and two big bathrooms. We felt right at home and took advantage of the extensive kitchen infrastructure. The location is perhaps not as close as some others to the main attractions, but the M27 bus passing the house is a useful East-West route for kicking off excursions. So is the Birkenstraße U-Bahn that is within walking distance. For stocking the fridge, the big Edeka supermarket near Birkenstr station had everything we needed. We easily located several good takeaway or dine-in food options within less than 5 min. The area feels very safe. In short, it's difficult to think of anywhere or anything better at this price point. Highly recommended.

Fabulous clean huge exceptional place. Sofi and the crew were extremely welcoming, hospitable, and accommodating throughout our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at this wonderfully light, airy, and classy apartment.

Very nice place in a quiet location,

Very nice place in a quiet location, perfect for a large family or group of friends. Large spaces, very clean with good amenities and everything you need. It has a set of stairs inside the apartment with the living room and kitchen upstairs and the rooms downstairs. Neighbourhood is quiet and not too far from the centre in public transport. There are a few small restaurants in the corner and a large shopping centre with supermarket five minutes away (walking).
