Description
Wonderful vacation apartment with up to 6 beds, plenty of space and garden. The 4 room apartment with about 110 m2 is located on the first floor of a 4-party house in a central quiet residential area.
In a few minutes walk (2-5) you find everything your heart desires: shopping, dining, feasting, beauty, health and finance.
The 38 bus line takes you directly into the heart of Basel and is within 2 minutes walking distance, the train station within 5. By car you can reach Basel in 10 minutes.
The space
The beautiful apartment with original period accents and modern flair, has two bedrooms, an office and relax area for reading and relaxing with bookshelf (the book collection is constantly expanding) and another as a living and dining room. The spacious kitchen with oven that can be used for cooking and to heat the art in the living room, creates a cozy warm atmosphere.
The quarry stone walls, up to 80 cm thick, ensure pleasant temperatures and cool climate even in summer. Air conditioning is therefore not necessary.
Guests are requested to strictly observe the regular legal regulations for quiet hours (night rest from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. ( for the sake of the children until 7 a.m. room volume), as well as Sundays and holidays) and not to expose the neighbors to any extraordinary nuisance, both indoors and outdoors.

Guest access
Access for guests is through the south side from the street, through the garden and own access to the first floor apartment.

Our stay went very well.
Our stay went very well. The host was very flexible and we were able to easily find a parking spot for the car. The Italian restaurant near the property was fabulous. The description may be mentioned that the listing has a high humidity level. The period walls bring character but the coolness probably very pleasant in summer surprised us with our late check-in. Tip for future visitors: Ask the host for heating on. But since the rest was great, we recommend the place of course.

Good location, big apartment in the middle of Grenzach just a few steps away from the local weekly market and stores. The apartment is quiet since it’s away from the main road!
