House with private pool with a great view

Description

The house has a private pool for the exclusive use of only one customer. It is 1 km from the medieval village of Monticchiello, 7 km from Pienza and Montepulciano and 30 km from Montalcino. It is an ancient farmhouse from the 19th century that rises in the Tuscan countryside in the heart of Val d 'Orcia. It is a place immersed in nature ,in a pristine corner of Tuscany with unique views of the world,with views of Pienza , Montepulciano and Monticchiello. It is the ideal place to spend your vacation !

The space
The house is equipped with a private pool with a lovely garden,and is fully fenced. The pool and garden are available for guests to use. The farm is located on a hilltop, surrounded by nature, with an amazing view. From the windows of the rooms, from the garden and from the pool, you can see Pienza , Monticchiello, Montepulciano, and the famous" Curve di Monticchiello" where many directors have shot famous films and advertisements. From the house you can admire beautiful sunsets, unique in the world.
From the farm you can visit areas of art and culture. Great for biking or walking , or taking photographs in a beautiful countryside . Free Wi-Fi and parking are available. The house has wooden beams, terracotta floors and stylish furniture, the windows are equipped with mosquito nets. In a part of the farmhouse my husband Fabio and I live there, with the opposite entrance to the entrance of the farm. Of course, the swimming pool is only at the complete disposal of customers ( neither Fabio nor I go there).

Guest access
The farm is on two floors: on the ground floor we have
-a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, freezer, oven and stove and all cooking accessories and a table with chairs
-Living area with a table and chairs , sofa bed and fireplace.
- a small bathroom.
There are two doors that open directly to the garden with a breathtaking view overlooking Monticchiello, Pienza and Montepulciano. You can eat both in the house and in the garden and in the pool
On the first floor we have:
- A double bedroom
- bathroom with shower.
- a bedroom with two single beds(A third single bed can only be added upon advance request and only for a child under 12 years and without any extra payment) With advance demand you can also combine the two single beds so that you have another double bed, so that you can have two double bedrooms.
Upon advance request, we provide the baby bed.
- bath with tub.
The rooms have mosquito nets on the windows and the bathrooms are equipped with hairdryer.
The garden is large , you can find roses, broom, rosemary, sage and many other plants .
At guests' disposal there is a swimming pool for private use of dimensions 6 m by 12 m equipped with sunbeds, chairs, deck chairs ,tables and two gazebip. The pool has a seasonal opening, opens on 20/5 and closes on 12/10 In the vicinity of the farm it is possible to fish in two lakes. The farm is reserved for a single reservation so as to guarantee privacy both in the pool and in the garden(there are no other tourists in the house). The house is equipped with independent heating ( which is not included in the price ) .

Other things to note
The most beautiful months to spend in Monticchiello are May and September , the landscapes are full of colors .
To spend a vacation with us, you need to have a car because there is no public transport. If you arrive from the north you have to take the sun highway A1 ( highway of the Sun) Rome- Firenze and you have to exit at Valdichiana and follow the indicator for Montepulciano. After passing Montepulciano and following the indicator for Chianciano, after about 2 kilometers, turn around Monticchiello. For those coming from the South take the A1 Roma- Firenze motorway exit at Chiusi - Chianciano and follow the indicator for Chianciano. Then pass Chianciano and follow the indicator for Montepulciano. Take the village of Sant' Albino after about 2 km to turn left towards Monticchiello.
The nearest airports are: Rome ( 2 hours and 30 minutes), Florence ( 2 hours) and Pisa ( 3 hours).
The nearest train station is Chiusi- Chianciano Terme which is about 40 minutes away. There is no public transport to the house. The house is one kilometer from the village of Monticchiello

The place is amazing,

The place is amazing, I wish we'll be able to return one day. The views are spectacular, especially early during breakfast and dinner when we sat on the hill and looked at the city in the distance. The whole surrounding area is very picturesque and serene. The house is rustic but very comfortable and clean. The pool is huge and so refreshing after returning from sightseeing around. The hosts are responsive and very kind and helpful. I rate this place 5/5 and wish more people come see how beautiful it is. As hard as it might be to believe, the pictures don't do it justice. It's even more beautiful when you get there!

This location was amazing.

This location was amazing. The views are breathtaking. The pool was a HUGE bonus, especially in the warm weather and they provided pool towels. There are screens on the bedroom windows so you can open them at night and the fans were an added bonus. The beds were a little firm for us but may be fine for others. Our hosts went above and beyond by meeting us at the nearby town so we could follow them to their farmhouse and she also made restaurant reservations for us. We had a wonderful time and would happily stay there again.

Elena and Fabio were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. They greeted us on arrival, gave us a tour of the house, pool and gardens. Fabio even insisted on carrying our heavy luggage (both suitcases at once!) upstairs to the bedroom floor. They also encouraged us to ring their bell any time we had any questions or concerns. We never needed to do that as everything was well organized. We truly enjoyed the rustic charm of such an historical building. The views from the farmhouse were amazing. We could see Pienza, Montepulciano, and the nearest town (only minutes away) Monticchiello. The proximity to other towns as well made it an ideal location for our time in Tuscany. Monticchiello is a very small town that is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed the enoteca with its amazing views each evening before dinner at one of the amazing restaurants. Our time in Tuscany will never be forgotten.
