Welcome to Edgewater Resort and cottage 77. Between Louisville and Lexington this cottage is the perfect place to stay while traveling the Bourbon Trail, or for a quiet get away.
Two master bedrooms, with private baths. Additional bedroom has 2 twin beds, and a trundle.
Fully stocked kitchen, and comfy living room are open and airy, all while being nestled in the trees of Taylorsville Lake with a private hot tub. This is also the closest cottage to the pool.

The space
This Cottage is the closest to the community pool and is the second largest cottage in the whole resort. You will enjoy the open areas and 3 decks or balconies in this Cottage. this Cottage is stocked with a full kitchen, washer &dryer, multiple appliances, private hot tub, whirlpool tub upstairs, and much more.

Guest access
Guests can explore the trails or enjoy the community pool. There is also a fire pit, a playground area and a parking area for boats.

Other things to note
Enjoy your stay at this wonderful cottage. We provide linens and towels and there is an on-site washer & dryer. Fully stocked kitchen includes a coffee maker but you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. There is also a whirlpool tub in the master suite upstairs and a private hot tub on the back deck. Enjoy cooking out on the charcoal grill.

The location is incredible

The location is incredible, the lake view was amazing, it was super clean, well-stocked, and the huge jet tub upstairs was a great surprise! We couldn’t find the passcode for the gate entering the neighborhood in the instructions but we followed another car in. Other than that, it was PERFECT!!

My family stayed here and we loved it

My family stayed here and we loved it! We're even talking about coming back next year already! The host was friendly and very responsive, the place was spacious and clean, and the scenery was beautiful. We had some very minor issues with having to find out the gate code to the community, but that was the only hiccup and it was resolved so quickly! Our kids are five and one, and there was plenty of space for them to run around inside, play outside, and enjoy the small park up the road. There's a nice hiking trail nearby as well that we liked a great deal. The board game stash was fun, the kitchen was easy to navigate and well-stocked, and the hot tub was awesome. We'd really recommend this place if you want somewhere close to the lake.

I got married at the Overlook Event Center this weekend and was extremely happy to have a large cabin to be able to get ready in!

I got married at the Overlook Event Center this weekend and was extremely happy to have a large cabin to be able to get ready in! Everything was great and felt very homey! I was able to put a code in and was very simple! 1 minute walk to the event center and my anxieties were free and clear being on a lake front property.

We were down for the bourbon festival and bourbon trail.

We were down for the bourbon festival and bourbon trail. This was a great central location for the bourbon enthusiast or a family looking for a quiet place to stay. It's straight across from the pool and super easy to access. It is a gated community so you feel extra safe there. Just a 1/2 mile from the boat launch, 1 mile from the gas station and a 20-30 minute drive to most things bourbon! The sleeping situation is ok. There are 2 king beds in separate rooms and 2 twins plus a trundle in a third room. We were a group of 6 grown men so we just put someone on the couch. It worked out just fine. All-in-all, we would definitely book here again.

Beautiful spot in a gated area. The air didn't work upon arrival, but was responded to fairly quickly and it was running by the end of our trip. Plenty of room for our family of 7. Had a few more maintenance issues that should be addressed for convenience. The hot tub never got "hot". Sand volleyball court was very close and fun to play on with the kids. Around the corner from the marina and close to gas station.

Hello. Overall our stay was nice with the exception of the spider webs. It seemed as though the property had been vacant for a while and wasn't freshened up prior to our arrival.

Great spot

Great spot! We have a larger than average family so we love using air bnb for safe, clean, affordable places to stay. This did not disappoint in any way! Walking distance to the pool, great open concept for family meals, clean and well stocked. Hot tub was perfect! Wildlife all around! Fishing at the boat launch! We had a wonderful week of softball and bonding. 100% recommended!

Excellent value for what you receive

Excellent value for what you receive. A very nice spot for a getaway with friends or family in the middle of bourbon country. The host is very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend!

The walk to the lake is a poor "trail.

The walk to the lake is a poor "trail." 3/5 had ticks after. The beach area is a mix of dead branches and broken beer bottles. The hot tub is off when you arrive so you will waste a day waiting for it to warm up. I asked multiple times if the pool would be open. The home owner stated she kept asking the association. Obviously it's not since the gate is wrapped with caution tape. The air conditioner did not work, I had an infant, 4 yr old and 2 elderly people with me. I sent her a picture show 85 degrees and the unit claiming to be on at 73-75. She said, "has it been running all day? Turn it off for a while, then back on" How do I know? I just got here. Being as it's 85 degrees I doubt it. Her suggestion did not work and we did not have air conditioning for our duration. I also sent a picture of what appeared to be poop on the wall under her towels. I don't know if she does not have the means to provide better service or just does not care but I will not be staying here again.
