Description
The cottage is in a superb setting on a south facing hillside with panoramic views across miles of fine Yorkshire countryside. It is approximately two miles from the centre of vibrant Hebden Bridge where there is an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants, coffee bars, art décor cinema, theatre etc. The cottage has been recently refurbished retaining many original features but with all the modern comforts of a fully fitted kitchen, underfloor heating and a wood burning stove.
The space
This an an ideal getaway stay with amazing access to miles of beautiful countryside - ideal for walking or biking. Or perfect for a relaxing cosy stay in tasteful surroundings. We look forward to welcoming you.
Guest access
The cottage has it's own private entrance and patio with fire pit. A barbecue is available on request.
You will need to bring wood with you for the fire pit (or you can buy some from us £10 per bag.)
(Unfortunately we're unable to accommodate pets)
Other things to note
- The property is a 6 minute drive to the nearest shop so bring all essential provisions. We will leave tea, coffee and milk for you but you'll need to bring all cooking ingredients that you might need including oil etc.
- Access to the property is down a single track lane which is tarmac all the way. There are some sharp bends on the lane, but delivery vans etc are able to drive down so not a problem for large cars or smaller vans. (In heavy snow we tend to leave our cars at the top of the lane and walk down!)
- If you wish to use the log burner we will provide some logs to get you started - you are welcome to bring more logs and kindling with you.
- you can buy wood for fire pit from us (£10 per bag) or bring your own with you.

A beautiful cottage just like the photographs.
A beautiful cottage just like the photographs. The underfloor heating was so efficient that we didn’t need the log burner, but I can imagine it would be lovely to light on a really cold day. Excellent oven and hobs and sufficient utensils to cook meals. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
