Old school cottage is a unique holiday home full of charm and character. Its large feature window and double height kitchen area is perfect for socialising. Langcliffe is a quiet,picturesque Dales village just a short walk from Settles pubs and restaurants. It is a popular starting point for walkers visiting the Victoria caves, Malham , 3 peaks , settle loop, 3 different waterfalls and wild swimming spots are all near by. There is a private garden area with views of the village green.

The space
Old school cottage has a unique, spacious, open plan kitchen /living area with large windows. The property has been newly renovated using reclaimed materials and furnished with beautiful antique furniture and fittings. There is a stylish downstairs shower room with sink and heated mirror. Separately there is a cartoon toilet room where the washing machine lives. To the front of the cottage is a double bedroom with five windows offering views of the garden and the village.
Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with ensuite, superking hypnos bed, large full length mirror and cast iron roll top bath in the room.
Outside there is a private decked and gravel garden with pear trees , plants, furniture and charming features. The garden benefits from sun all through day.

We loved staying at the Old School House, beautiful and thoughtful conversion. Very comfortable stay in a charming village. The Malham landscape trail is not far and is recommended. 10 out 10, would recommend and would stay again.

Had the best restful week in this lovely home. Everything from the bed to the bath and kitchen has been well thought out, and it was the perfect place to stay while exploring the dales. Only a short walk from settle, shops and pubs so no car was needed. We can’t wait to go back.

This is a terrific Airbnb - we loved it so much that we didn’t want to leave. Jamie’s interior design is exceptionally good: underscoring the heritage of the building as a former village school, the place has a timeless quality and is very peaceful. The location is superb too - there is so much to do from the doorstep. Check out the books on sale in the church, a minute’s walk away. Settle is a fine market town and it’s surrounded by limestone country and some of the best waterfalls that England has to offer. We will be back!

this propertywas perfect in every way. we was staying here to complete the 3 peak challenge and it was only 10 minute drive to begin the hike from the property which was great for us. the property was stunning, clean and very cozy. we will defo be visiting Yorkshire again and recommending this beautiful place to many friends and family
