The space
Just 15 min by train from Florence + 5 min by car with private pool.
The Nest was a barn that has been completely enlarged and restored, now it is a mix between the traditional structure in Tuscan style revisited in a modern key.
The double bedrooms are spacious , the one with a pool view has a bed with a 180x200 cm mattress, the other with a 160x200 cm mattress.
The small room has a bunk bed with single mattresses 90x200 cm so it is also good for adults .
The kitchen is spacious ,equipped with fridge, oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and everything you need to cook.
The bathrooms are equipped with a shower.
The heating system is on the floor.
The pool measures 3x12 meters.
In the garden you will find olive trees and aromatic plants of the Mediterranean scrub such as sage, rosemary etc.
We are between the countryside and the woods, it is likely the encounter with animals and insects.

In the evening, during the summer, we recommend admiring the stars outdoors as we are out of the city's light pollution.
Twice a week we have to maintain the garden and outdoor spaces.
Sometimes you can hear a few shots but don't worry, we live in a safe and quiet place.

Other things to note
We are a 20-minute walk from the village or 5 minutes by car, however we RECOMMEND that you come by car ; to access the house there is a climb.
The house is surrounded by greenery among woods,vineyards and olive trees.

Fantastic stay, comfortable place and outstanding hosts. We were unlucky with the weather but still had an enjoyable holiday. Summertime must be awesome in this house. Totally recommended

Luca and Lorenzo are the absolute best hosts you can find.

Luca and Lorenzo are the absolute best hosts you can find. They’re friendly, helpful, fun, and just all around wonderful. We loved our time staying here and would recommend it to anyone that is even thinking about it. The place is spacious, well air conditioned, updated and super comfortable. We will for sure be back and can’t wait to see them again.

Wow! We’ve stayed in so many Airbnbs and they’ve mostly been fantastic, but nothing has compared to the experience we had had Luca and Lorenzo’s please. They have created paradise for themselves and are sharing it with the world. The place is so much better than the pictures, the pool is exquisite and on one night they made us Tiramisu. It’s a great location in the Tuscan hills but only 20 mins by car or train into Florence. We took our 2 year old daughter and she was in the pool everyday. What a wonderful place. We’ll be back soon for sure.

Excellent stay at The Nest. Luca and Lorenzo were wonderful hosts. The place is very pleasant and convenient. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are very nice. Kitchen is medium size and fit most our needs. The hosts were super kind and gracious. They helped us with some lost luggage, they also made an amazing tiramisu for us and shared their fresh eggs from their chickens with us. You do need a car though - not a walkable neighborhood. Would highly recommend overall
