This old farmhouse from 1770 has been renovated entirely with organic materials and in full respect of the classic Tuscan style. The woods close to the house, the scent of aromatic herbs and the orchard create together with the typical chestnut furnishings, the Tuscan Cotto floors and the stone walls a combination of colours, smells and a feeling of peace that makes the stay unique for a sense of peace and relaxation...a real sensory touch
The space
This beautiful old house has been completely renovated with organic materials and is in the middle of a farm that produces organic fruit and vegetables and where we also breed the beautiful Turkmen horses Akhal-Tekè.
Around the house is surrounded by chestnut woods with orchard and herbs that create a magical atmosphere. The house is spread over three levels, on the first and second floors there are two identical apartments consisting of a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, a double bedroom and a triple bedroom. The ground floor that represents the common area consists of a large living room (where we find a double sofa bed), a professional kitchen for dinners and events, a bathroom and a technical room where there is a laundry.
Outside the house has a beautiful pergola with wooden patio where you can dine "al Fresco" and enjoy a beautiful sunrise or a spectacular sunset.

In addition, the house has a SAUNA (4 seats) and a spectacular panoramic SPA WHIRLPOOL (also open during the winter!!!).

THE STAFF IS HAPPY TO MAKE LUNCHES AND DINNERS WITH LOCAL PRODUCTS AND PIZZAS IN OUR NEW WOOD-BURNING OVEN!

The house, in addition to offering the possibility of WELL-BEING and total RELAXATION within Nature, also offers a highly professional service of personal well-being through a close collaboration with Professionals of the Sector, thus offering the possibility of personalized treatments performed by the best professionals directly in the structure (osteopathic treatment, Ayurvedic massage, etc.)

The House of Nonno Mario is located within an evocative Natural path, it is possible in fact starting directly from our House to get directly to the top of the Pizzorne Mountains (900/1000mt) along a safe mountain road suitable for Mountain Bikes or Trekking on foot.
Guest access
in another site of our farm (near The house) we also breed the beautiful Turkmenian Akhal-Tekè Horses.

Great and cosy place in the hills of rural Tuscany

Great and cosy place in the hills of rural Tuscany. Lovely pool and jacuzzi in the garden. Spent most of our time sitting in the garden enjoying ourselves and the incredible viewl. All other needed amenities. Note that this is a rural location and you need a car ultimately to get around. 15-20 min to walk to nearest village where there is one restaurant / shops.

We had a very nice stay in Danieles house which is located very quiet and private. From the garden and especially the jacuzzi, you have a great view to the mountains and the surrounding villages. Daniele was very friendly, reachable at any time and answered all of our questions very quickly. He sometimes came by to care for the garden and the cat but always announced it in advance and did not disturb at any time. There is a big kitchen in the base of the house which has everything you need even though some items are a little worn-out but this personally didn’t bother us. The bathrooms were relatively small but very clean.

The historic villa was built in the 1770’s and overlooks the mountains. It has plenty of room for two families with a complete kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom on each level. The villa has been well restored to its former glory.

I truly can’t say enough about our experience with Daniele!!

I truly can’t say enough about our experience with Daniele!! The house was beautiful, the small places to eat around were wonderful, and not too far from Lucca city center. Daniele helped with recommendations for activities and grocery stores to get us started. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the large dining space allowed our family to eat meals together.
