It’s across from Via Fillungo and next to the Cathedral area, a few minutes walk from the city’s best-known sights.

The private living room overlooking the city is the perfect spot for an afternoon spritz and snack while watching the city pass by. The fully equipped kitchen is the perfect place for foodies while the grand dining table is ideal to experience cooking classes with a local chef thanks to the en-room kitchenette. Don’t miss the Venus bath: the medieval bathroom of the Lords is now converted into a Spa room featuring a Jacuzzi hot tub to pamper yourself in warm bubbling waters after a day of sightseeing.

The apartments’s double entrance leads to a pair of elegant salons that show off its scale and style, with original paintings twining up the walls and colorful frescoes gracing the ceilings. I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Lucca. The beautifully frescoed rooms with high ceilings created a truly charming atmosphere, and the spacious living areas were delightful. The apartment's proximity to restaurants, main attractions, and convenient stores made exploring the city a breeze. While the overall experience was 5-star worthy, I was disappointed that some critical issues like the non-functional main bathroom mixer, faulty lounge area lights, and a dysfunctional second bathroom light were not addressed during my 8-day stay. Despite these hiccups, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would have loved a snag-free experience.

We traveled during the summer heat wave.

We traveled during the summer heat wave. The villa is comprised of 2 apartments. The left side with larger bedrooms cooled down with ease. The right side didn’t. It wouldn’t go below 24 Celsius (we have many photos & messages sent their way). If you plug in too many items to the outlets while the power goes out in both sides. Master shower had a light above it which collected water and short circuited. We couldn’t use the shower in that room for 2 days as we had to wait for an electrician due to the heatwave and a concert series in town. AC was the same issue. Everyone had to sleep in the living rooms as the bedrooms ranged from 24-26 Celsius (80-85 F). We contacted them several times. They told us there was nothing they could do until the electrician came 2 days later. The host tried but got frustrated with us and this put a huge strain on the vacation. The kitchen, baths and linens are well stocked. It is a beautiful place and centrally located. Just go in any season BUT summer.

This is a great apartment in a great location,

This is a great apartment in a great location, no question. However, when we visited the building was covered in scaffolding and work was ongoing (some noise). This very much detracted from the beauty of the location; no views from the windows due to scaffold and from outside it was a building site.

This place in nothing short of amazing!

This place in nothing short of amazing! It was perfect for our multi-generational group of 12. It was huge! Spaced out so nicely that we all had our own nook if needed. Everything you need is provided. The decor is fabulous and the location is excellent-hop, skip and jump from the center. If we needed anything, they were answering msgs immediately. This is a 5 star place. We couldn't have been happier! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa!
