Near Cabanas, Vale Caranguejo has a little bit of everything for each family member, so either if you are in vacation with your family, or in a golf trip with your friends, or just simply enjoying a nice romantic restaurant, stores, bars, parks, supermarkets, historic monuments or the beach this is your ideal destination. Vale Caranguejo is well with other cities and surrounding nearby towns - 35 minutes away from Faro and it's international airport. Nearby a shopping center / mall and movie theaters.

Everything went very well, the communication with Julio was fluid, the young daughter of Smartvillas who greeted us was adorable and the accommodation was as described. It was very hot but with air conditioning in the living room and fans in the room was fine. Recommended.

We stayed in Julio’s apartment for a month in July. We are a family of 4 with two boys aged 4 & 8. The apartment is very comfortable really well kitted out. The kitchen is actually better stocked than my own at home! I was really impressed with Smartvillas who manage the property, they came each week & changed towels & linen and cleaned the floors & bathrooms. The apt is on the 3rd floor & I reckon it has the best view out of any of the other apts there. The pool is nice and my boys loved it. The staff at the pool bar are really lovely and prices are extremely reasonable . Big inflatables are not permitted - just to save any parents making the same mistake we did by wasting money on big pool inflatables! Mosquitos v prevalent here- come prepared! I don’t recommend staying here without a car - Tavira city is a 7 min drive & Cabanas is even closer by car but it wouldn’t be safe (or comfortable in the heat!) to walk. Overall great holiday location - highly recommend!

We were there with 6 friends for a week. Julio's apartment has been the most well-equipped we've ever stayed in. We lacked nothing. Value for money was definitely good. The pool is also very pleasant to use, as it is not very busy. In addition, you can easily rent and play tennis rackets (without payment) at the poolside bar. The beach is about 45 minutes on foot and 10 minutes by car. Since we didn't have any transportation, we drove Uber (very cheap and always available). Supermarket is also easy to reach on foot (15 minutes) and is also well equipped + cheap. In summary, the welcome and stay in Julio's apartment was very nice

Amazing apartment
Amazing apartment, spacious and very comfortable. Very well appointed with everything one could require. A property management company handles your check in and goes out of their way to help you check in whenever you arrive. We got lost and the wonderful property management staff person walked the area while on the phone with us to help us. That’s great service. We would highly recommend Julio’s apartment. Tavira, while not a central location in the Algarve, is a beautiful area with access to some of the most beautiful beaches. We had a rental car so explored the entire Algarve.

Beautiful spacious apartment
Beautiful spacious apartment with a great view of the ocean and pool. The host was kind to arrange us a taxi to the location and had an agent there to show us to the apartment. It was a hike up the stairs with our luggage but other than that it was an awesome place.
