Description
The old barn of the farmhouse has been refitted to guest up to 4 guests.
On ground floor the big couch opens up in a king sized (160x200 cm) bed.
On top floor the king size (160x200cm) bed with en suite bathroom.
The barn opens up on its private little terrace fully fitted for out door living (table, armchairs, sun beds and barbeque). The communal swimming pool is twenty meters away. The property on which lies The Barn is partially secluded and gated, surrounded by an extensive garden and olive grove. It lays 2 km uphill from the village of Camaiore wich is easily reached by foot. All around hills and mountains. But the sandy and hot beaches of the Tirrenean sea are just 6 kilometrs away.
In the area there are many good restaurants and pizzeries and in the village you will find many very good groceries and vegetable shops. The area is well known for the Montecarlo red wine, for the chick pea pizza called "la cecina" , for the "torta di pizzi" a salt cake of flour pepper and zucchini and for "tordelli" a stuffed pasta served with meat sauce.

A lovely escape to the countryside
I loved my time at The Barn at La Poletta! My one piece of advice is: if you are traveling without a car, budget a good deal of money for taxis to come in from Viareggio or another nearby city to pick you up and take you where you want to go. But this property is lovely! A real treat. Grazie!

Una casa accogliente completa di tutto , un bello spazio esterno privato per poter mangiare e rilassarsi. Area verde grande per far girare i nostri 2 cagnolini ed una bella piscina. Penso che ritorneremo

Just awesome
We had a very great time! The small house is just perfect for a couple, the terrace a beautful private space and the pool is a proper swimming pool. The surroundings are peacefull and beautifull. You can see: we enjoyed every moment. Also the communication with Stefano and Vittoria were exceptional, they even tried to help us printing concert tickets :)
