Description
Casa Mancino is an old typical Tuscan building nestled at an altitude of 600 meters, on top of a hill on a 2 hectare property planted with olive and other fruit trees. Totally isolated, the calm is absolute and the panoramic view. We wake up in the morning to the song of birds.
The small fenced garden, directly surrounding the house and the swimming pool is exclusively planted with aromatic herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme of various kinds, bay leaf, oregano), lavender and fig trees. The scents of the south are made according to the wind. This same wind which in the evening gently refreshes the air even after a day of heat waves, and makes the nights sweet and pleasant.
The Mancino house is a cozy home full of charm with neat decoration and offering all modern comfort. Its stone walls of almost 80cm thick guarantee a pleasant freshness inside even during the day. It has been completely renovated with old materials, tiles, exposed beams, etc.
It is perfect for a family but can also accommodate two couples and two to four children.
On the garden level
You will find a spacious and rustic kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher, a fan or convection oven, a large stove with gas burners, and above all all the utensils necessary for lovers of good cooking. Direct access to the pergola facilitates outdoor dining where you will also find a gas grill / plancha and comfortable garden furniture.
Adjoining the kitchen / dining room, you will also find a living room, with a flat screen (satellite dish), free access to Netflix and access to a south-facing terrace with a table, chairs and a parasol. Finally, a shower room with WC and a utility room.
First floor
A porch with bread oven and armchairs where you can quietly read in the shade of the tiles
Two bedroom; the first, a master suite, king size bed with a particularly comfortable and cozy mattress and a small sofa bed for children, a large bathroom with shower, sink, wc and bidet. The second, a (passage) room for children or teenagers with two single beds.
On the second floor
The attic under the roof pitch, with twin beds and a single bed. Please note that the stairwell is not partitioned and therefore a second couple could feel a lack of privacy!
The casa Mancino is an ideal house to spend a holiday in peace and in perfect disconnection, by the pool or under the pergola, and enjoy an exceptional panoramic view and nature for the only neighbor.
Supermarket 25 minutes by car (an electric fridge is at your disposal) and the Sansepolcro "Coop" has underground parking ...
Excellent restaurants 15-30 minutes by car
The direct surroundings of the house are perfect for walks or mountain biking and the region is full of tourist attractions of all kinds.

Escape to the Tuscan hills
We had a gorgeous week In Genevieve’s beautiful house, deep in the Tuscan hills. The house has all the charms of a traditional Italian farm house, but with everything you could need for modern living and it was impeccably clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and the veranda and pool area is lovely. The best view ever from a kitchen sink! If you are wanting to get away from it all and immerse yourself in the Italian countryside, this is the place.

The house provided everything we’d hoped - peaceful and remote location, lots of wildlife, comfortable and well equipped, lovely pool and lots to do in the surrounding area. You need a car that can handle rough surfaces- but that’s all part of the fun! Communication with the owners was great.

Als Familie wohnten wir zu viert eine Woche im Casa Mancino. Die Betten waren einwandfrei und die Moskitonetze über jedem Bett war goldwert. Das Haus ist sauber und richtig urgemütlich eingerichtet. Es fehlt einem an nichts, vor allem in der Küche ist alles, was man braucht. Die Lage, besonders der Ausblick und die Ruhe ist ein Traum! Das Swimmingpool ebenfalls. Der Service von Genevieve und Robert ist schnell und super. Vor allem das leckere Öl aus ihrer Produktion! An die Zufahrt über die Schotterpiste gwöhnt man sich. Wir kommen wieder, keine Frage.

Wunderschönes Haus mitten in der Natur
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem wunderbaren Haus. Etwas abseits gelegen wird man nach 10minütiger Fahrt über einen intakten Schotterweg mit einem atemberaubenden Blick in die Berge der Toskana belohnt. Wenn man der vielen Menschen überdrüssig ist, lässt sich der Kontakt zur Zivilisation nahezu komplett vermeiden, denn die Casa Mancini bietet alles, was aus unserer Sicht erforderlich ist. Wenn man es doch möchte, sind mit Arezzo, Cortona und dem ein oder anderen sehr hübschen Städtchen genügend Alternativ geboten. Der Kontakt zu den Eigentümern war bestens und wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt.
