Come enjoy this Historic 1925 Lake Worth, FL Home with the most gorgeous gardens in town. You'll be welcomed with a long pathway of tropical plants and trees that make you feel like your in your own private oasis. Sit back and relax in a courtyard area. This 2/1 historic home has everything you need for a few nights or a few months.
For Larger Groups of 6 to 8 Guests, (There is an additional 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom Cottage 'The Secret Garden Cottage' is the perfect getaway for the ultimate in relaxation that can be rented separately which you will share common outside areas. Ask us if you wish to rent both, and we can send you a link to the listing!) Common outside areas are shared with guests of The Secret Garden Cottage. The large yard offers lush landscaping oasis. You are a 5-minute drive down to the intra-coastal and a 5-minute drive to the beach and enjoy amazing views.
The Space:
2 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs and the 1/2 bath is downstairs in the back patio area. Large living space downstairs including living room, sitting room, family room, dining room, and kitchen. This home comfortably accommodates 6 people.
WIFI is available. There is no pool on property.

'The Space was perfect for my family of 4! I enjoyed a cup of coffee each morning in the garden. The home was central to everything weneeded, grocery stores, restaurants and the beach. The host even provided tons of things to make going to the beach easy( chairs, boards, umbrella, beach toys for the kids, and mats. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off after being at the beach all day. The place was very neat, clean, and had tons of things to make you feel at home. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay. We will be back!!!'

The lush garden made me feel like I was in a Caribbean island and the historic home was located seconds away from local hot spots. It was clean and fresh when I checked in. I can’t wait to come back! Such a cute property
We enjoyed our stay at the secret garden! The place had lots of towels, beach supplies, and all the kitchen items needed. It was very comfortable. The garden was super pretty. My favorite part was the stray kitties that live next door, and would come and play in the garden. We loved them! My only concern is a strong gas smell when we used the oven. I emailed and they sent the handyman out. He came right away. But he said it was fine and didn’t smell anything. But it was definitely a strong gas smell. They should check that out. Seems like a little leak or something, probably an easy fix. Otherwise, it was awesome. Thank you so much!

Excellent Place to Stay
After unfortunately going to NORTH J St., we found the Secret Garden. A lovely oasis, clean, very welcoming, everything you need. Nicely appointed. Would definitely recommend!

Spring Training
Quiet older neighborhood, beautiful secret garden and a quaint cottage home. Close to the ocean, shopping, and restaurants. Three day stay to celebrate our anniversary and attend a Grapefruit League spring training baseball game. All boxes ??.

Main house stay
The house is cute, clean and well appointed. The gardens and property is lovely and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay. The shared garden space was fine and we actually spent part of an evening sitting with people renting the cottage. We didn't understand that the cottage has a shared wall with the main house and you could on occasion hear the people in the cottage if they were talking loudly. The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy but we had no issues.

The Secret Garden is a hidden gem
This house and garden are a hidden gem in an otherwise plain neighborhood. The garden is lovely and relaxing to hang out in, and the inside of the house is spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the very comfortable beds and ample storage. There's a well-stocked kitchen, although we didn't cook much. There was a lack of dishwasher pods and laundry detergent, so we couldn't run the dishwasher or do laundry; we told the manager so hopefully those will be better stocked in the future. But other than that everything was just as described and we had a lovely stay there! Location near 6th St and downtown Lake Worth are very convenient.

Charming duplex in Lake Worth
Wonderful outdoor spaces with the gardens, etc, and SO much dining space (which we did not really use), but we liked having a decent kitchen. The location was convenient and ideal for us, and we found it quiet too. The only surprise (maybe we did not read the fine print) was that we had a neighbor in the attached unit, so, it is really a duplex and they did not know either that we were there. We shared outdoor entry, spaces some. It was not a problem, as they were nice, but we definitely heard them through the living room walls (and I am sure they heard us when we turned the TV on). No call back from the management when we LM about a work guy who showed up at dusk looking for someone we did not know...He was evidently contacted to fix a washer/dryer but we knew nothing about it or him. Overall, these things were not big issues for us and it is a very nice place, so I would return, just a little better prepared next time.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Old house with a lot of character! However, our 5 week stay was riddled with one problem after another. Foul smell, backup of sewer drain and major gnat problem. Constant attempts and workers trying to rectify these problems. We could not have friends/family come visit because of the stench. Be careful before you sign the dotted line and contact rental agent regarding the condition of the property. It is a lovely Secret Garden.....just needs upkeep!

Magical place - that's the best description
The house by itself, built in 1925, has a wonderful air of history and genteel comfort - it's spacious and well-supplied. But the garden! It must be someone's life work! Anyone who's ever loved a fantasy novel will enter that garden and never want to leave! I'll be back!
