What a gem!
The location of this property is perfect with expansive views of the ocean, sunsets, sky and surrounding neighborhoods. It is within a short drive of Ribeira Brava, a wonderful village that has everything you need for a short or long visit without the busyness of a seaside resort or tourist haven. Our host was very friendly and gave us excellent tips on the area and what to see on the island - it helps to be hosted by a true local! The property was clean and well equipped both inside and outside and afforded many pleasant hours enjoying the excellent weather on the sun loungers and in the heated pool. While the entrance, garden and pool are shared by two properties, it is still possible to enjoy privacy and the rooms are well insulated, so you do not hear your neighbor. There is no doubt that we will chose to stay here when we visit Madeira again!
