The apartment is located in the heart of downtown, but in a quiet street.
Located on the first floor of a beautifully restored old building right next street to the famous shopping street of Downtown Budapest (Vaci street, 5th district). The area has just gone through a major renovation and facelift and is now the most beautiful and up and coming area of the downtown region. Reduced auto traffic and pedestrian only streets all around. The metro stop 'Ferenciek tere' is just 200 m away.
The windows of the apartment look onto an inner romantic courtyard, providing a quiet atmosphere. Cleaned professionally before each guest.
Taxi service available upon request to and from airport (EUR 28.-)/one way.
Price includes all costs (cleaning, internet, heating, etc), there's nothing extra to be paid. The calendar is always up to date, you can book your dates right away.

Stepping out of the building you will find restaurants, wine bars, shops.
With a few minute walk you will reach the famous Central Market (Vasarcsarnok on Fovam ter), from there walk across the bridge over the Danube to reach Gellert bath all within 15 minutes. If you want to walk the other direction, you will reach the Basilica and the Opera within 15 minutes seeing beautiful buildings, shops, restaurants on the way or you can take the metro for 1 stop.
As an official reseller of the HOP ON HOP OFF BUS LINE, you can purchase tickets directly from me with a 10% discount. It is actually better to buy tickets on this bus line than for the public transport. It takes you to all notable points in Budapest and you are free to get on and off anytime within the time period of the ticket. The time period of the tickets range from 48 hours to 72 hours.

A Lovely flat in a GREAT location
This location is perfect for Budapest. In the middle of great restaurants and cafes, just a few hundred yards from the Metro station. There are a few stores nearby that have all you need. The owner was FANTASTIC to work with, and the check in procedure could not have been easier. They are renovating the building, so It will be even more beautiful in the future. The space was just right for us two, but any more would be a squeeze. The apartment is accessible via a spiral staircase, no problem for us, but keep in mind. I will ask to stay there again, the next time we are in Budapest.

Stayed for the F1 and was a great location for the metro and airport buses. Great bars and restaurants a minutes walk away. Apartment was clean and had great amenities.

Romantic Hideaway in Budapest
The apartment was compact, but sufficient as you don't spend much time inside in a city like Budapest! The location was excellent. It was a bit of a struggle to get our large (river cruise) suitcases inside and up that one flight of stairs, but once inside it was sufficient. The kitchen had all you needed. Bath was compact, but we are not large people. Owner was great.

The property was lovely and convenient to activities and restaurants. Going up one flight of stars with suitcases was a struggle, but that was only once. Very quiet and comfortable. Host was able to set up a cab for a 3:30 am departure. Throughly enjoyed the stay.

Excellent location, comfortable apartment
This is my second stay at this apartment, which should tell you something already. Once again I found the place to be clean, quiet, well positioned in the city (just a few blocks from the Great Market Hall). The owner is helpful and checks in -- I really appreciated that he scheduled a driver for pickup and dropoff at the airport, especially given that my flight left Budapest at 7:30 am. If you have trouble with stairs, there might be an issue, though it's on the first floor (second if you're not from Europe). I give it five stars.
