Reviews

Individual chateau in French village. Convenient location.

· Quirky, French Chateau with homely feel. Good location. Great parking. Chateau was clean, although dusty in parts - chandelier, light switch, top of units. Bedding and towels clean. Bathroom clean but toilet seat damaged and grout in shower had mould. Complementary breakfast of bread, jams, cheeses and cereals. Nice dinning room. Difficulty with payment via debit card - tried three before one was successful. Very attentive owner.

Superb

Old fashioned charm, character and atmosphere

Beautiful home to stay

Gracious hosts into their home, the building is stunning, and the meals were exceptional. A fitting end to a week long trip for me and my son. The rooms were large and very comfortable, and we were made to feel welcome and at home here. Disliked · The only thing that I would say is yes, there is a bit of dust as per some of the other reviews, but it is an old chateau with period pieces all over the house and rooms so would be a more than full time position to keep everything dust free. Go to a hotel chain for that and respect the history.

A good stop over B&B

The chateau as a private house B&B requires guests to be away from the property between 11am - 4 pm which didn't cause us problems but might affect others more. The host Francis is very welcoming and attentive. This property could be described as a bit quirky but typically old style French in an elegant building. It is good to have the option of eating in rather than having to travel to a restaurant, particularly as there didn't seem to be anything in the vicinity. Disliked · Floorboards were a bit creaky in places and the meal/drinks bill seemed to mount up.

A very comfortable and pleasant stay - will definitely return if passing this way again.

Great host, lovely building, great food, good value for money

The host Cedric, I a delightful man, who greets, serves drinks, acts as the waiter, and also is the chef. Our evening meal was great food and great value

Very good

We were very surprised to be given paper cups with the tea and coffee in our bedroom. Not good for a place of this quality.

we loved our stay and enjoyed the whole experience. We would definitely stay again.

A beautiful house with so many features. Rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds. We were welcomed by Cedric who was very attentive. Dinner and breakfast were lovely.
