Perfect stay
We loved the house

A charming canalside cottage.
The cottage was spacious and perfectly positioned in Brecon within easy walking distance of the town centre. In the main the accommodation was comfortable, however we found the cottage quite chilly. We were unable to work out how to turn up the temperature on the central heating and used the electric heater and the blankets provided in the evenings. When we've stayed at VRBO properties previously there has been coffee, provided, both instant and ground, there was neither here although there were tea bags. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the issues described above were minor and did not overly affect the enjoyment of our stay.

Lovely cottage by the canal
The cottage is in a great location, within walking distance of Brecon town centre and close to the canal tow path that is ideal for a stroll or longer walk. Parking is tricky as the road is very narrow and can only take cars on one side, so gets full in the evening, but there is usually space on the main road at the top which seems safe. The cottage has everything you need for a short stay.

Perfect location/lovely cottage
Great cottage - very comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic location right by the canal and close to the busy town but quiet and peaceful. We had sunshine all weekend and were able to enjoy sitting in the garden but also made use of the conservatory in the cooler evenings and can imagine even on a wet day it would be lovely to sit and watch the world go by. Well located for exploring the Brecons and based on a previous review - we walked the four waterfalls walk and agree it is a stunning walk - popular but perfect on a hot day. Parking is the only downside but managed to park on the main street and the neighbours that we met were very friendly so have no doubt they wouldn't mind anyone taking time to unload/load outside the property if needed. Would happily stay here again and Helen was a great host.
