Norahs Holiday Cottage is a traditional Irish holiday cottage located on the counties of Cork and Kerry border, two scenic regions in the south west of Ireland.
From this pretty peaceful holiday cottage, you and your guests will enjoy beautiful countryside views. Located in the Sliabh Luachra Region which is an upland area in Munster and bounded to the south by the River Blackwater. Just 28km from Norahs Holiday Cottage is the bustling town of Killarney, a vibrant town which is home to the famous Killarney National Park, the first national park in Ireland.
This pet-friendly holiday cottage is ideally located for touring counties Cork, Limerick and Kerry, a great base for an Irish adventure with your beloved pet by your side.
Norahs Holiday Cottage Description – Sleeps 4This traditional Irish holiday cottage has been restored to a high standard and keeps many of its original features. Norah’s Cottage has a farmhouse style kitchen which is well-equipped for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland.
The inviting living room is packed with character, with beautiful exposed brick and slate floor. Sit by the cosy open fire in the comfortable furnishings provided and enjoy the wonderful views across the countryside.

Please note the two single bedrooms have sloping ceilings.
The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a bath with overhead shower, hand basin and toilet.

Pay as you go Wi-Fi available at Norahs Holiday Cottage and electricity is included in the rate. Four hours of oil heating per day is included in the rate but there is a €5 charge per hour for usage thereafter. Local Area – Knocknagree and BoherbueNorahs Holiday Cottage is located between the villages of Knocknagree and Boherbue. Knocknagree is a pretty village with a selection of pubs in north-west Cork, 1.6km from the Cork-Kerry border. The pretty village looks south towards the Blackwater River.
For groceries guests must travel to either Rathmore or Boherbue, 7km away either side of this pretty holiday cottage. Both of these pretty villages have a selection of amenities including a grocery store, pharmacy, post office, hardware store and a number of country pubs. Boherbue village also has a children's playground.
There are many fishing opportunities locally on the Blackwater and Owentaraglin Rivers known to be very popular with anglers all around the country. Things to See & DoFrom Norahs Holiday Cottage you can easily reach the popular tourist town of Killarney. Situated on the shores of Lough Leane this bustling town has a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars, craft shops and fashion boutiques. From here you can access the scenic Ring of Kerry route or hike the 200-km Kerry Way walking trail.
