True Oasis with Modern Amenities!
Claudia and Gustavo were wonderful hosts - this property was an amazing home base for our stay in Sao Miguel. The whole house was clean, the kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials and even laundry! The garden and sea view is even better in person. The hosts were very communicative, helpful and welcoming.

Our hosts were exceptional. The guest house photos on VRBO’s web site are beautiful but really can’t match the actual beauty of the house and setting. The house was immaculate and well appointed with special touches that made us feel welcome. When our baggage was delayed the hosts went out of their way to make sure the delivery to us was completed. The gardens are dramatic, well tended, and perfect compliment to the house. Sunsets from this porch are phenomenal! After a hard day of hiking and exploring, there was nothing better than coming back to this cozy fireplace, with a glass of wine, and talking about our adventures.

Claudia and Gustavo far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we checked in the hosts were helpful by showing us the home and provided us with fresh fruits, bread, milk, eggs and wine to get started. The home is exceptionally clean (spotless really), roomy and equipped with new electrical appliances. We enjoyed sea views during the day and the warm fireplace in the winter evenings. Whenever we had a question about an activity or a spot on the island, our hosts were quick to help by pointing us in the right direction if needed. I would highly recommend this rental, we hope to be back. Thank you for everything.

Best hosts we have had at any VRBO/HomeAway/etc. The hosts have thoughtfully prepared this property inside and out. Furniture, appliances, fixtures have been well-chosen to maximize visitor comfort. They also were very accommodating toward our requests. The yard/gardens were a pleasure to behold.
