Perfect small room

Marie-Charlotte was very welcoming and gave me lots of information about the area, different transports and shops. I discovered one of the best bakers in Paris on rue Oberkamp. And the 96 bus which goes to so many interesting places. It has to be said that the room is small. However it contained everything anyone would want for a stay in Paris, where you are spending most of your time outside. The balcony was a bonus on which to enjoy breakfast or an aperitif. It was extremely hot during my stay and the fridge did not keep water or food cool enough. My fault, but I had not understood that the toilet was shared by several tenants. Fortunately I don’t have to get up during the night to go to the toilet, but if I did, this would have been a no-no for me. That being said, I would stay there again if I visit Paris for a few days.

Lovely place in a great neighborhood

It’s a tiny tiny place, but located super close to the Parmentier station and the cool and hip Marais neighborhood. If you want to stay away from the touristy part of Paris, this is a great place. The toilet being located outside the unit is a little bit inconvenient and the room feels small with luggage but if you are going to spend most of your time outside exploring Paris, that shouldn’t matter too much. The host, Marie Charlotte, is a lovely lady who speaks good English.

The best little room in Parmentier.

Marie Charlotte, is a delightful woman. She was very helpful, kind and accommodating. The room is small but has everything a person needs during their Paris stay. I very much enjoyed staying here. It’s in a great Paris neighborhood with a small balcony to view the area. I highly recommend. Craig H

Perfect place to stay for 1

Marie was such a delight and helpful host. The room itself was lovely and perfect for the solo traveler. Location was great and felt safe to get to and from at night. Couldn’t recommend this location and Marie enough! Thank you for letting me stay here again!

Cozy apartment with everything you could need for a short or long solo stay in Paris!

I was traveling alone to Paris for a few days and came across Marie Charlotte’s apartment between the 10th and 11th. This was my first time in Paris and I wasn’t sure how the location would be since I wasn’t familiar with the area but it was great! Not too loud and lots of cute Boulangeries, supermarkets, cafes, speakeasies and brasseries within 10 min walking! Marie Charlotte welcomed me to the apartment, explained everything and made sure I was comfortable for the stay. The apartment comes with a stovetop, toaster, microwave, kettle, French press and bed desk so you can work out of it you need and a balcony for some fresh Parisian air. I was out and about most of the day but was nice to come to an apartment where I had all the amenities I needed and was able to cook one of the nights as well. It’s about 20-30 minutes from the center by metro but was very easy to access and easy to get to most areas within the city! I highly recommend staying in Marie Charlottes place. I had a wonderful stay and can’t wait until the next time I am back in Paris.
