This two bedroomed penthouse apartment is situated on the ever popular San Juan de Capistrano urbanisation which is a mature well established village of around 500 villas and apartments set in beautiful landscaped gardens. It is about 5 - 7 minutes drive from the centre of Nerja with its many restaurants, bars and excellent shops. The many facilities of the urbanisation are available to guests including large swimming pool, on-site supermarket, bars and restaurants. Local buses close to the apartment run regularly to the town and beaches. Comfortably furnished, sleeps up to 4 people. The apartment is split level with lounge / kitchen area on top level and 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on lower level, 6 steps down. It has a combination air conditioning / central heating system, large sun terrace with views over the mountains and sea, with table, chairs, sun beds and sun canopy. Linen and towels provided - but not beach towels. The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, fan assisted oven, microwave, fridge / freezer and washing machine. Clothes dryer and iron provided. Flat screen wall mounted internet TV with full package of European and British channels. Some Sky channels ioncluded. Free wif-fi in apartment.
Nerja Town : Local by-laws prevent high-rise developments to ensure tourists can experience the Real Spain.
Nerja Things To Do : The famous Caves of Nerja are only 5km away.
The quaint white washed village of Frigiliana is also a short drive away and well worth a visit. The Balcon de Europe which is the focal point of the town Centre is a tree lined square overlooking the Mediterranean sea surrounded by cafe's and restaurants and is famous for its artists ,processions and horse drawn carriages. Burriana Beach has the blue flag of the European Union to reflect its cleanliness, over 20 restaurants most of which specialize in Sea Food, mini-markets etc.

Your villa was very clean, spacious and modernized. It accommodated all of our needs. It is very well situated in terms of use of facilities for the pool area and associated bars and restaurants etc.... literally a 4 minute walk away. It is lovely and peaceful and quiet. With plenty of car parking right outside our front door and through the flowered gardens it was ideal. The villa was well stocked with everything you need regards books and board games, the tv, DVD player, cd player etc... Having 2 separate showers and toilets meant we had our own private bathroom which was great!
... Overall myself, my wife and my 2 children would score you villa apartment 10/10. It had everything as stated in your advert and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend your villa apartment to anyone interested in planning a holiday to Nerja. We will definitely be using your villa again should it be available on our next visit to our favourite family holiday destination.

"Relaxing with a view over Paradise"
The apartment was fantastic, we got good use of the terrace and found it to be spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us. The decor and furnishings are of a high standard and we enjoyed the recliner sofa. We used the kitchen and barbecue to eat at home. The area is well situated for us as we use the car a lot and enjoy the cooler breezes and views over the town. We had a great time using the pool, which must be the best of all the urbanizations and we enjoyed eating at The Pool Bar run by Dawn and Tony who were excellent hosts. We also enjoyed food and drinks across the street at La Parra where we met Pablo the owner and lots of owners of neighboring properties who were warm and friendly to us. We would happily return again and again.

EXCELLENT!!!
We stayed as two adults and two kids aged 10 and 12. The apartment is the second one we have stayed in on this estate. It was fabulous. Had everything needed. The location is near to the pool with fabulous views from the lovely terrace. The apartment was clean and spacious with a real homely feel to it. Being on a split level added character and having two bathrooms was brilliant for family needs. The beds were comfortable and clean and the air con was great in all rooms. We only used it in the evening whilst we were in as there were lovely breezes from the coast. The plants on the terrace and the fairy lights made the place feel special and very much reflected the homely feel we look for. All together a great time was had in the area and the apartment was a 10/10 and we would definitely return.

And the Winner is...........
My wife and I have been going to Nerja since 1999 and to San Juan de Capistrano since 2000. We have holidayed there at least once a year and frequently twice. During these many visits we have rented a number of different apartments. On reflection I have to say that of all of these different apartments the property at 74 Via Real comes out No 1. What is effectively 2 bedroom 2 bathroom accommodation, with a large living area and terrace, is the comfortable winner.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION
The apartment is located in a very nice and well maintained area. Size and room layout of the apartment were perfect for us (2 adults, 2 teenagers). The best part was the beautiful terrace with the fantastic view of the mountains and the sea as well as the pool belonging to the residential complex. Overall, it can be said that the price / performance ratio with this apartment is true and this is definitely recommendable.

Firstly – many thanks for your kind assistance and advice regarding our ‘first’ holiday in Nerja, including the map which came in very handy. Your advice about using a hire car was very important and the decision to follow that advice was really beneficial. It allowed us to explore the hillside villages and towns (we thought Frigiliana was lovely) and to explore the coastal area. We’ve been to Tenerife and Lanzarote on quite a few occasions and found them lovely but very commercialised. Nerja was much more “Spanish” which we enjoyed. Your apartment is excellent and we were able to relax from the moment we arrived. I love a morning walk (especially on holiday) and found that the walk down into the town via one route and then back up the hill via another was really enjoyable (and certainly got the lungs working !!!). The car of course was very beneficial because of the location. The views from your patio area are stunning – we spent many hours sat out there with a glass of wine. (I did keep watering your plants). We really enjoyed it – it suited our type of holiday superbly.

Location Ideal
I cannot tell you how fantastic our trip away was. The house was just perfect. Location is absolutely ideal. The apartment itself on the top floor with the terrace has the most stunning views in every direction and sunshine throughout the day and night. Superb. We spent our days at a number of beaches along the coast towards Maro and further east and evening on the terrace cooking on the BBQ and relaxing with a glass of wine. A little bit recluse really and maybe we should have gone out and enjoyed a local restaurant or two but the point of our trip was to spend some much needed time together and there seemed like no better place than up on the beautiful terrace. We did not use the pool apart from the first day we arrived. The life guard had no problem with us being there as we told him we could not get a pass with it being Sunday. Everybody we bumped into in the urbanisation was very friendly and I kept saying to my partner Nick now safe I felt the whole time we were away. Especially around the urbanisation. We really loved your house and are so grateful for you squeezing us in at the last minute. We both have said that we would love to go back so I will definitely be in touch when we get chance to book another holiday!

IDEAL RENTAL IN NERJA
This apartment is perfect for a couples or family holiday in Nerja. Main benefits include: The large terrace, which is not overlooked and has sunshine all day long. There are great sea and mountain views and as it accessed from the kitchen, it's so much easier to cook in than a roof terrace. Large, comfortable bedrooms, with aircon in both. Beds are comfy. Right opposite the bus stop, plus plenty of parking outside. Well equipped, with everything you need to self cater. Great pool area not too far from the house, but far enough to be quiet. It's €3 for a lounger plus €1 for a parasol. However, plenty of grassed areas to camp out on. Small, but well stocked shop on the site, plus a few bars and restaurants, if you don't want to go to town. You can walk to town, about half hour to the centre. Taxi back ranges but around €7. The apartment is up a number of steps, which was the only small downside. However, you would not get the view otherwise and this also meant it was lovely and quiet. We'd definitely rent this apartment again when we return to Nerja.

BEAUTIFUL VIEWS FROM TERRACE
Geoffrey and Diana from Coventry (April, May2014) We were delighted with the apartment and had our best stay yet in Nerja which we have visited several times before. The weather was superb allowing us to make the most of the terrace with its beautiful views over the sea and mountains Everything we needed was supplied in the apartment and it was almost a home from home. The furnishings and equipment are ideal as well as the place being really tastefully decorated. The site is full of flowering shrubs and well-watered lawns in a great development with pool and facilities handy. We would recommend this to any of our friends.

We enjoyed our holiday
We stayed in this lovely apartment for a month from the middle of October 2013. It was very spacious and had everything we needed to make sure we enjoyed our holiday. The balcony is large with beautiful views of the sea and the mountains. The TV reception was excellent for English visitors, and the wi fi was very useful. We hired a car, but there is a bus stop outside the apartment, should you wish to use the bus service.
