Nicola and his partner are absolute gems. The rooftop terrace took the cake. I highly recommend going to the market, cooking at the house, and eating a meal with a bottle of wine on the roof as the sun sets against the mountains. The town is perfect. If you get the chance, hike to the castle. Be warned: it's about 8 miles roundtrip (from city center), steep, and rugged. But if you're up for the challenge, the pay off is immense. Give yourself plenty of time so you're not coming down in the dark.
