Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, our Marriott Cleanliness Council is redefining our cleaning and safety standards. Starting with our public spaces and high-traffic areas, Marriott is going above and beyond our normal protocols. Great beach property and EVEN BETTER STAFF!!
After a long time without a vacation due to covid, our stay got off to the best start when Joyce moved heaven and earth to get us the room we wanted. It's been so long since we've been able to interact with people properly and Joyce was a breath of fresh air.

Great beach property!
Great property. Although on the crowded beach of Kaanapali, the resort has a nice wide beach and lawn that allows the guests to spread out and not feel as crowded as other hotels on the Kaanapali beach. Rooms were beautiful and obviously upgraded very recently. Friendly staff and thoughtful features like brand new bbq grills, slip mats in dangerous areas and luxurious hammocks under the palm trees shows that they care about the guest experience.

Great stay at the Nanea
We were a group of 5 adults staying in a 2-bedroom villa. 1. Grounds were beautiful 2. Staff was friendly and helpful 3. The unit was large, comfortable, and well-appointed 4. Self-parking was located nearby 5. The main pool is definitely designed for children, if that's what you're looking for. 6. The beach adjacent to the resort is quite nice, although the snorkeling was sub-par

Wonderful Service
My family spent a wonderful 10 days at the Westin Nanea. Food in the pool bar was very good. We wish they would open the fine dining restaurant for dinner. We left behind our 8 year old son's beloved blanket he's had since birth. Called and talked with Janal in security. She quickly found that they had the blanket, she sent me a picture to my phone and helped arrange returning the blanket. Janal was so thoughtful, kind and helpful. Making the entire visit the best ever. Thank you.

Nicest room I've ever stayed in!
The staff was so excellent, especially the wonderful and accommodating manager, Alex. She went out of her way to make sure we had the room we wanted. I will never stay anywhere else on the island of Maui.

Gym Staff and Safety Security are great!
This review is for Keoni who works in the gym and Lorraine in safety and security. Keoni went out of his way to locate a lost item. He could have just sent me to a Dept but instead did all the footwork and had the item delivered to me by Lorraine. Thank you Westin for having two wonderful employees! They represent you well!

Beautiful resort with amazing staff like Joyce our concierge contact! So friendly and able to answer all our questions in the blink of an eye! Got to know us quickly and made recommendations on things to see and do without any ?high pressure? which made us comfortable from the get go! Will use her recommendations for our ?to do? list!

total relaxation, Tori Kim and crew paid attention to all details at poolside and beach, and we wanted for nothing. The service was constant and detailed. We felt the essence of Aloha the entire week.

Kudos to Shane, Tori, and Bubba
A quick thank you to Shane for assisting my husband after a jelly fish encounter. He was professional, quick to take care of things, checked back in later during the day and the next day to ensure he was okay. He was so professional and calm, and we really appreciate it. Also a thank you to Bubba and Tori for taking care of us when a belligerent bully was trying to cause trouble at the pool. They took my report, they were professional, and they made my birthday the next day extra special. You really have a great staff! It is nice to be home again at the resort. We missed our "ohana" during 2020.

Birthday Staycation
ONE HELL OF A CREW!!! Birthday celebration for my little cousin (when asked what she wanted for her birthday, she said TO STAY AT NANEA) so Nanea it was! I'll be honest, I was a bit hesitant as I know a lot of the travel restrictions have been revised and relaxed so I knew off hand there would be a lot more guests staying this time around than from my previous stay in late October. I took a chance anyways since we all were in dying need of a mini vacation! When we pulled up in valet, I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of valet and bellmen which almost doubled from the last visit, but even with all the commotion and congestion of cars and guests checking in, they were all so friendly and upbeat! I felt right at home, happy to see that valet parking is back (even though it didnt really apply to my massive overly sized monster truck) but they still accommodated me by having it parked in the front!. Our villa wasnt too far of a walk from parking, I think I enjoy the ground level room better, easier access to the pool and the restaurant. Pool day was amazing, I especially love the fact that a lot of the pool attendants remembered us and the fact that the pool bar was open, I'm a sucker for a sun-day with some LAVA FLOWS!!! It was nice to see that the restaurant was open for breakfast, cant go wrong with some HOT STARBUCKS COFFEE (couldnt get myself out of that cal king size bed early enough to get breakfast) My family and I enjoyed our staycation and couldnt have asked for a better place to relax at, my cousin especially. It may not seem like much to an adult, but for her, she was beyond thrilled that almost every one of the employees we encountered asked about our stay and greeted her HAPPY BIRTHDAY! That left a special and remarkable impression on an 11 year old...I work in customer service as well (not at all comparing to what this staff does on a day to day basis) so I must admit, I am not the most easiest person to please but the staff here definitely did ONE HELL OF AN AMAZING JOB, especially with the PANDEMIC and being close to 100% capacity, not one doubt in my mind, they deserve every bit of this REVIEW!!!! EXCELLENT JOB WESTIN NANEA CREW!!!!!
