Description
The spacious master suite – the heart of the home – is located on the upper level of the house. It’s outfitted with king bed, ensuite bathroom with a walk-in hot water shower, double vanity and private shaded patio.
The master suite also benefits from plenty of storage and hanging space and large flat screen tv.
Directly out the front door on the lower entry level is your private patio. You can start or end your day with a dip in the refreshing plunge pool with views across the valley.
Spend the day under the rancho lounging on the deck chairs, swinging in the hammock, napping or reading a good book.
At night grill up the day’s catch of mahi-mahi or red snapper, or some of Nicaragua’s famous beef on your North American style gas BBQ.
Inside on the main level of Casita Romantica you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen complete with every pot, pan, glass and utensil you might need to create a gourmet meal using fresh local Nicaraguan ingredients.
The comfortable and cozy living room includes an oversized futon, 2 large armchairs and flat screen TV.
Indoor dining space is also provided for the evenings you would prefer to sit inside.
Also on this level is a 2nd full washroom with shower and easy access from the pool, kitchen and futon sleeping area.
Built from the material adobe Casita Romantica is a relaxed and comfortable space even during the heat of midday. It’s elevation above town results in nearly constant cooling breezes.
This home is also conveniently located inside of the popular community of Pelican Eyes.
Your Casita Romantica vacation includes access to Pelican Eyes Lap Pool community pools. They are located a 5-minute walk from the casita and are open daily from 7 am to sundown.
Casita Romantica is accessible from town on foot in 15 minutes for anyone with a good level of fitness. A 3-minute cab ride to or from town makes the home ideal for all ages of guests at any fitness level.
Our central location allows you to explore the many in-town restaurants, shops and bars, as well as the various nearby beaches.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The last 300 meters of road to Casita Romantica is uphill and unpaved. Extra care is required for guests arriving in low clearance vehicles and compact cars.
We have an electricity allowance of 30 kilowatts per day. This is a sufficient amount to power the casita with responsible use of air conditioning in the bedroom. Electricity consumption over this amount will be charged at a rate of $0.50 USD per kilowatt hour.
We are pet friendly and allow one (1) well behaved dog providing it weighs 20 lbs or less. Pets must be registered at the time of booking.

George’s place was amazing.
George’s place was amazing. We had such a lovely time. Location was pristine, right by town and easy to walk to restaurants and the beach. We rented an ATV in town which we used for our transportation. Place was very clean, bed comfortable. Awesome sunsets. Loved the shower! Would definitely stay again.

Casita Romantica is a beautiful unit on the bottom level Casa de Cooper.
Casita Romantica is a beautiful unit on the bottom level Casa de Cooper. The place was better than the pictures. Absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I spent a lot of time on the rocking chairs outside of the bedroom admiring the scenery, and also down on the pool deck catching some sun and eating dinner by the pool. The onsite manager Gabriel is very friendly and helpful. There is a guard at the gate 24/7 so we always felt safe. There are other units attached so don’t expect privacy like you would a standalone house. It’s a short easy walk into town but the hike back up can be strenuous. We ended up renting a scooter to zip up and down the hill. Overall it was a great experience and we would love to return.

Friendly staff, spectacular views. Lovely space, great location and very safe and secure. Would definitely stay again.The only suggestion I’d have is proving olive oil for people to cook with in the kitchen.

Amazing views. 5 minutes from town. Pool area was amazing. Pool is 6ft deep in the middle. Out door shower was a +. Both bathrooms are huge! Hot water with strong water pressure. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked perfectly. You will love it.

The place is beautiful, perfect for two people whether it's friends or a couple. The toilet is exceptional, everything was in perfect condition and very clean, it was what we liked the most. Note: We loved the private pool. But it would be nice to find a way that there aren't so many toads inside it for the afternoon/evening. Since, we couldn't use it because there were about 20 in the pool. *But definitely for the day it's too worth it* We'll be back yes or yes. We loved our experience

We stayed at the Casita Romantica in the Casa Cooper for 10 days. 10/10 would recommend. The staff is incredibly helpful, communication was thoughtful and consistent, and the view is absolutely incredible. The spot is located at the top of Pelican Eyes - about a 20 minute walk into town. Wonderful stay for anybody looking to have a romantic getaway with easy access to the town and nearby beaches. We loved the Casita Romantica!
