As a guest of our Skytop house you will be able to take advantage of all the activities and services of the Skytop resort while enjoying the comfort and privacy of your own very pretty, clean and comfortable seven bedroom cottage built almost 100 years ago!
ABOUT THE HOUSE:
This antique cottage, appointed with beautiful and comfortable furniture, is located on the 5th Fairway and is the closest home to the majestic Skytop Lodge. The cottage's floor plan and its proximity to Lodge make it a great resting place for which to enjoy the Lodge and its fantastic facilities.
Seven private bedrooms – no bedroom shares a wall, six large bedrooms with a large closet and sitting area. The forth bedroom on the first floor is smaller but has a private bath. This listing offers to rent the 4 Bedroom/3 Bath (first floor ONLY) or the entire 7 bedroom house with : (7 Bedrooms/4 Baths). In either choice, your party will have the entire privacy of the property.
• Downstairs: Four bedrooms and three full baths. Three rooms with King beds and one with a full bed.
• Public spaces: Kitchen, dining room, living room and screened in front porch are all comfortable and cozy.
ABOUT SKYTOP's ON-SITE ACTIVITIES:
When staying at the Cottage 45 you will enjoy access to Skytop Lodge and the recreational facilities on the Lodge's 5500 acres. Recreational Activities at the Lodge include: an 18-hole championship course, Five Har-Tru Tennis courts, two all-weather courts, a raised paddle ball court, a boating/ fishing lake, swimming lake with floating obstacle course, indoor and outdoor pools, 30 miles of hiking trails, fly-fishing, and adventure center. In addition to the regular activities, the Resort schedules special events every day. These may include Camp in the Clouds (4-10 year olds), exercise classes, guided hikes with Skytop's Naturalist, Ballroom Dance Lessons, Water Color Classes, the list goes on and on... Weekend evenings often feature live entertainment in the Lodge. Participating in the Saturday Night Grand March with Skytop's 5 piece Orchestra is a favorite among guests! Scheduled events are published each week in the 'Skytop Skylights' and are available at the Lodge's front desk and from the Skytop website.
ABOUT SKIING:
Skytop has their own beginner ski slope with snow making. For those looking for more of a challenge there are many ski slopes near Skytop, including: Alpine Mountain 10miles , Camelback Mountain Resort 20 miles, Shawnee Mountain 22 miles, Jack Frost Big Boulder 30 miles, Snow Mountain / 40 miles, and Elk Mountain 60 Miles away.
