Description
Langarra Estate, with its green lawns and constant, welcoming breeze, is part of a historic 300-acre sugar plantation, now the prestigious, secluded 'Preserve at Botany Bay.' Langarra's very private hilltop site overlooks the Preserve's forested slopes and bays, to the dramatic necklace of surrounding, uninhabited small islands -- a 30-mile view, uninterrupted by any sign of modern life, except the occasional sailboat passing by.
European simplicity combines with West Indian sensuality in furnishings, paintings and details throughout the house. With soaring ceilings above, and cool coral-stone floors underfoot, the light-filled interiors maximize the expanses of sky, sea and garden-green seen from every part of the house.
There are four spacious bedroom suites, all with ocean views, large bathrooms and closets, and outdoor terraces. A fifth, bedroom/bath suite with 2 queen beds has its own adjacent living area and mini-kitchen -- perfect for children or teens, nannies, family elders, or those who may want a bit of separation.
Indoor living spaces extend outward onto the oversized, umbrella-shaded terraces. Sunlight enlivens the site from dawn until soaked-sky sunset hours... and our night skies are peppered with stars.
A large infinity edge pool overlooks the sea...and just 5 minutes away by car are two unique beaches, on the private grounds of the Preserve.These two private beaches are yours to enjoy (often with no one else in sight): pristine, exquisite Sandy Beach (for sunning, bodysurfing, picnicking) ... and Mermaid's Chair, the dramatic, delicate double-beach (good for swimming, exploring, beach-combing), where the cooler Atlantic Ocean and the warmer Caribbean Sea converge and blend.
Newly completed, Estate Langarra gently combines its fresh spirit with nature's age-old sensibilities.
Just a short 20-minute drive away are the attractions of town: world-class shopping, gourmet and casual dining, grocery stores, ferries, entertainment, nightlife, and tours.

Paradise Found
We truly enjoyed our stay at Langarra. Bob, Kim and Corinna were an absolute pleasure to deal with and are very quick to respond. The Langarra house is so beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. You have to see it to believe it! We enjoyed sunsets every night and cooked most of our meals as the house is very well equipped! We took full advantage of the private beaches and spent many days on Sandy Beach. Be sure to checkout Mermaids Chair for a close adventure. We bought all of our food from Cost U Less and ordered from Mories Cafe which is a food truck very close to the house. Langarra is perfect to accommodate large or small groups. The rooms are comfortable and allow for privacy. The main living area is great for playing games and the views never get old. I have never seen such beautiful sunsets in my life. I highly recommend this property and I can’t wait to return.

Beautiful home
This property is absolutely beautiful. The home is enormous and very well appointed. Keep in mind if you have small children the rooms are somewhat broken up so plan accordingly. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of supplies and most spices ! Best part, the VIEWS from the pool area. There is nothing like it!!!! We saw rainbows everyday. We also saw lots of wildlife to include tropical birds, huge tropical frogs and a mongoose ! Be careful with garbage though, there are stray cats that will go through it if it’s not in the bin with the lid properly sealed . Corrina is very helpful and kind as well. :)

AMAZING PROPERTY
There were 10 of us that stayed here over Thanksgiving week 2021. It was a perfect vacation. The views from the property are surreal. Every morning we would wake up and just stare at the ocean view and relax. The kids had a great time, and the l;ay-out of the house is perfect for a larger group of people. The house is PERFECT. The 2 private beaches are awesome. Everything was perfect. BEST VRBO PROPERTY WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN!

Exceptional Home - Unforgettable stay
There really are no words for the beauty of this home, it’s location, or the privacy it affords you in one of the most exquisite spots on St Thomas. The owner and concierge are responsive within minutes of asking questions, help you cater your trip to your desires, and made our arrival and departure seem less. My family will never forget days and nights spent swimming, laughing, playing games, and truly relaxing in this space. Everyone has their own space. Plenty of ways to be alone or together. We had a truly magical time. If you are considering a stay and considering your options look no further. You have found the place!

Such an unforgettable trip!
My stay at Villa Langarra was absolutely amazing! There were 9 of us total. We all had our own separate rooms that were very private. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous! The pool and ocean view was incredible. The property is very secluded and quiet! Corinna was so helpful with recommendations and was available the entire time with any questions we had. Joseph was our own personal driver for the entire trip and we loved him! He was so familiar with the island and fit us all comfortably in his vehicle. We also had Ultimate Chef Services come for a private dinner at the villa one night and the food was phenomenal! We used the shuttle service at the property to take us to Sandy Bay beach since it is a bit of a walk to get to. The beach was gorgeous and so private! We were the only ones there! I could go on and on about our experience at Villa Langarra. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place to stay!
The property is gorgeous! The rooms were huge and beautifully decorated! Anything we could have needed during our stay was supplied and it made our trip worry-free and allowed us time to relax and enjoy our time together. Sandy Bay beach was perfect, as well!
