Description
This 3 bedroom unit also looks out at the famous Kenai River and is
only 90 feet from the bank of the river. When you approach the chalet, you will
see a covered deck with a gas grill and chairs. As you walk in the front door, you will
find a nice size living room, dining area, a good sized well equipped kitchen, one
bedroom and two full baths. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (one larger
bedroom with either two twins or a king, and one bedroom with two twins. There
is a mudroom at the rear of the unit where you can hang wet gear or dirty shoes
or boots.
General information: All chalets are situated in just under 4 acres of
natural forest land. All facilities are on pilings and sit about 4 feet up in the air.
There is a 12 person sauna lined with natural Alaska cottonwood and an 8 person
hot tub. There is a shared laundry room plus an additional ladies and men’s room
each with a shower in the bath house. Out front by the river, there is a nice lawn,
picnic tables, canopies for inclement weather, grated walkways adjacent to the
river for fishing. There are lots of birds that frequent the property such as bald
eagles, stellarjays, robins, chickadees, woodpeckers, and the occasional owl. We
also have moose, the occasional brown bear, and other small critters such as
ermine and mink. There is parking for at least 2 vehicles for each unit.
Additionally, we provide fishing gear for our clients to include rods, reels, nets, hip
boots, knee boots, life vests, rain gear, fish coolers, and lunch coolers. We also
have a gift shop on site with genuine Alaska native made items as well as other
items.
