Upon your entry, the living area is spacious and beautifully decorated with colorful sleeper sofas and 2 swivel chairs to delight in an unobstructed picture from the glass-front balcony with views of the Gulf from almost every corner. The family gathering space was built for entertainment with a home theatre that includes a Bose speaker system, Blu Ray player, and a 55” high definition television. The formal dining area seats twelve, while the open kitchen features granite countertops throughout with additional seating at the bar for four. Cook like a professional with modern Viking appliances while enjoying breathtaking views of the Gulf, and bring your favorite wines to the perfect temperature in the 12 bottle built-in wine cooler. This floor is furnished with two queen bedrooms, two full baths, one en-suite. Additionally, a separate bunk room with 4 twin beds. Each bunk bed has its’ own light and flat screen tv. Upstairs, you’ll find 3 master suites, two with beach views, including one with a private glass-front balcony and sleeper sofa for children at night or in the afternoon to curl up and enjoy reading a good book overlooking the blue waters. The two masters have king beds and generous baths, one that boasts a large, jetted soaking tub. For the kids, a separate bedroom offering new full size bunk beds direct from the Pottery Barn and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The first floor level provides private beach access, including a gas grille, a fully appointed second living area and game room complete with a full sleeper sofa. The kitchenette provides the convenience of a refrigerator, microwave, built in icemaker, separate beverage cooler and an extended wet bar for family gatherings. A second 55” television gives everyone plenty of room to spread out and enjoy their favorite shows, sporting events and movies. Cable TV and wireless WIFI are available in all the bedrooms, great room, kitchen, study and game room. Great House!
A great house with a great location! We especially loved all of the outdoor seating that allowed us to experience the beach when we weren't on the beach. I would recommend this house and look forward to another stay in the future.

Great Week For Our Family
Every aspect of our week at David and Laurie's home was perfect - the location, the home, check in/check out. David went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed before and during our vacation. So much room, the views!!!! and the house is simply amazing. Annual Family Trip a hit!
Beautiful property - view could not be improved upon! Very quiet and relaxing and away from the condo crowds. We got lucky and squeezed in between two hurricanes and enjoyed fabulous weather the entire trip. The bonus kitchen downstairs is a great amenity and we also loved being able to go straight thru the garage to the beach with coolers and beach toys with no stairs! Will definitely keep this house on our list for next year!

We stayed in The Magnificat from 12/29/2019 to 01/04/2019. This place is beautiful. Views are amazing. It is big enough for a large family to stay. It is well equipped with all your needs. The sandy beaches are a few steps away. The owner worked with me on a couple of things before we got there. The owners are friendly and very easy to communicate and work with. You will not be disappointed! We will use this place again and again!

Nothing Short of Magic On The Beach!
Our stay at the Magnificat was Magic for our family. We had the most wonderful time, and the location, the house, the owner, the optional activities all added up to a Magical experience for our family. My wife and I have three grown children, and three grandchildren. David was a wonderful host, and he remained available to us promptly throughout our stay, which really helped us out. We would highly recommend the Sand Castle Building Lessons! Not only did our grandchildren love this activity, but everyone pitched in and showed their creativity. Our spot on the beach, with our 5 Star, 4 Turret Sandcastle, worthy of a Disney Movie, was a hit with passersby on the beach for the rest of our stay. Our 4 year old and 8 year old granted many interviews on the finer points of their creations! Another high point for us we saved for our last night, and that was a Bonfire On the Beach! This is provided by a third party vendor, but it is not as straight forward as one might think, since the County requires a permit to be issued for every Bonfire. When we booked the Bonfire, we were under the impression it would be in front of our house, but we learned that unless the owner has an annual permit, your Bonfire will be at a remote location- not what we had counted on. For the property to be eligible to host a Bonfire, the owner has to purchase an annual permit & have it on file with the County & the Fire Department. David had done that but the Vendor was still having problems getting the permit issued, as they were having trouble locating the annual permit on file. It's a long story about how we were eventually successful in obtaining a permit even though the County stopped answering their phones in the afternoon, but after some persistence, a permit was obtained. Many thanks to David for remaining engaged in the process. So we had a Bonfire that started at sunset, & it was really great fun! We first BBQ'd on the lower deck, which is quite well equipped for this. Then our whole family was out on the beach, making S'mores, telling tales, lighting sparklers, and basking in the glow of the fire and one another's company, and just having a grand ole time! Then we simply walked back up to the house- a 100 ft stroll though the Sugar Sand of Destin. This duplex is big, the rooms were nice, the common areas were great, and the kitchen was well equipped. Master BR upstairs is awesome. 5 Star stay- you'll spend some $ but the memories are Priceless!

I would highly recommend this beach house! David and his wife were so helpful and went above and beyond for me as i had never been to Destin before and was planning a beach wedding at the Magnificat. This house held all my family and friends that attended and was a gorgeous property for inside and outside pictures! We will be back for sure!
