Perfect flat, spacious , modern and easy walk to everything!
Dear Maria, We have truly had such a lovely time at your holiday home! The reviews here are 100% spot on! The apartment was sparkling clean and we were so impressed on how well stocked the apartment is. It’s warm and inviting, and so comfortable. We felt like we had borrowed a friends home instead of a cold impersonal hotel. She even met us with delicious breakfast pastries for next morning and also went over everything in the apartment showing us how things worked! The apartment has maps, travel guides, bus routes etc, The terrace is a treasure with such a well cared for garden. The extra perks such as a washer, clothesline, even clothes pins which were so handy in the wind! It seemed like every detail was so carefully thought out to what travelers need when home away from home. It was also so nice to have the modern perks such as the instant hot water, and a perfect hair dryer that actually works! The kitchen is fabulous. The basics for cooking were there, great assortment of utensils, even herbs spices teas coffee! The bed had clean fresh linens and a comfortable bed! The building is a secure apartment with a modern lift. The location is an easy walk to las Rambla, gothic quarter, etc. groceries and restaurants are steps from the apartment Everything in this home was simply sublime. We can not thank you enough!

Great Location and Wonderful Owner
Our stay in Barcelona was magical. The apartment allowed us to spread out after our 10 day cruise in a 216 square foot cabin. The pictures were accurate; and the neighborhood was well-located for daily exploration, filled with interesting shops and restaurants. But the highlight was the warmth and caring exhibited by the owner, Maria. Other visitors have made mention of her helpfulness, and we certainly saw numerous examples of her concern for her guests. She made special arrangements for us to leave our luggage early after leaving the ship and, most importantly, helped us leave Barcelona safely after a series of demonstrations made it difficult to get to the airport and make our scheduled departure. The apartment was filled with maps and guidebooks left by previous guests, which were helpful, and Maria's lengthy orientation led us to some wonderful restaurants we might never have discovered on our own. The terrace was the perfect place to end each day and enjoy the lovely warm nights in October with a glass (or two) of chilled cava. We would happily rebook should we ever return to Barcelona and we can only hope that future accomodations in Europe will be as welcoming as Maria's apartment.
