From the outside, this home is unassuming, but when you walk through the door you will be captivated by the stunning woodwork that supports and defines this warm and delightful home. The open floor plan lends itself to family gatherings and evenings spent around the fire along with chatting and cooking in the adjacent country kitchen. On warm evenings, the french doors open onto the balcony overlooking the green lush fields leading down to the creek, and to the woods lining the edge of the property. If you are feeling energetic after dinner take a walk along the miles of mown trails; if you are in the mood for an adventure cross the creek and continue your stroll through the wooded farm border and along the stream (bring your waterproof boots :!). Back at the homestead there is plenty of room to spread out, with 2 master suites, one on both first and second floors, and 2 additional bedrooms on the bottom floor. The first floor suite features a light-filled bedroom overlooking the bucolic rolling fields and trees, with a master bath containing a large, 2 head walk-in shower as well as an adjacent laundry, and designer closet. The upstairs suite features a soaring wooden atrium for the bedroom ceiling, and a large bath complete with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The 2nd floor is completed by an open loft with large desk, and can be used as a work area, or as a place to hideaway and just read or relax with a cup of tea or glass of wine. The lowest level rooms feature a forest theme which is like a fairy tale come to life, and a Star Wars room in which the force is quite strong! For kids the trampoline, tree house, and long driveway for riding bikes and scooters have great appeal, as do the additional toys (pogo stick anyone?? ) and acres of land on which to run and play! For the inclined adults, there is a canoe or kayak for paddling along the scenic pond. In the spring and summer flowers abound in the lush landscaping, and the outdoor seating areas are perfect for relaxing and reflecting. In the fall and winter the jet-filled hot tub provides a marvelous place to relax, refresh, and appreciate all the beauty around you. Outings might include Claiborne Farms, The Kentucky Horse Park, the incomparable Keeneland, the Bourbon Trail, local shopping at the adorable Paris shops, The Ark Encounter, or hiking at Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge! So come relax and enjoy a unique stay in the Bluegrass - this is truly a vacation home paradise!

Very very nice home set in a beautiful KY area close to Cynthiana. Home was beautiful and furnished well. Lots of area inside and out. Very well kept property. It was like moving into a fully furnished beautiful home. Would stay again in an instant. Jon Rousu
Wonderful place to stay
The house was everything as stated! It was a wonderful home and very spacious. We had 7 adults and 8 children and the house was perfect! The property was great as well, 72 acres is a lot to explore and it’s beautiful! The owners are wonderful, friendly and very welcoming! They always communicated with us and also gave us a binder of information about things to do around the area. Also, the kids loved the outside cats! This property is perfect for families! We had a fantastic trip.

Perfect for this family of the bride!
Our daughter got married ay the nearby Prizing House. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home to gather for the weekend. Plenty of space for our family, a grill to host a pre-wedding cookout, lots to keep the little ones occupied, and so much we didn't even get to explore! The hosts were so welcoming, and everything went smoothly. The cats were just an added bonus for this feline loving crew, but not to worry. If cats are not for you, they are well taken care of in the barn!! If you are going to the area, don't pass this one up!!

This was the best vacation ever. Super place. Very accommodating. Great communication with owner. Very helpful and detailed info that really helped to pack what we needed. - which wasn’t much.

A wonderful home away from it all
We had a simply wonderful time at Sycas'more Farm. Everything was super clean when we arrived. I could tell that Jeannette and her family worked hard to clean since I am allergic to cats. They even put the cats in the workshop for a few days before we arrived to help with my allergies as well. I only had slightly itchy eyes when I sat on the carpets in the living rooms, and that was a very mild reaction, and I was impressed with how little my allergies bothered me. Communication with Jeannette was easy and quick. She is responsive and friendly! My boys loved the trampoline, the pond, and the toys in the garage. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet while they played the day away outside! I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for an "isloation vacation" or just a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. We could not have been more pleased to stay there and we hope to be able to return in the future!

Dreamlike Family Get-together
We were 8 adults & 7 kids (3 babies under 1 year; a 14 year old & 3 younger, elementary age). We had this booked before the pandemic but we went ahead and glad we did. Jeannette communicates warmly & clearly. She assured me by describing how they deep clean given the pandemic as well as addressing any other questions I had. The house, yard & acreage was SO accomodating; and private. We especially enjoyed the mowed paths to help young & old take hikes and explore. We all enjoyed the pleasant places to relax outdoors & the outdoor toys. Inside the furniture & beds & bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of bathroom space. The kitchen is spacious and easy to use. So the place was super great for us. Getting my daughters' families together like this was, and is, like a dream. Thanks Jennette & Paul!
Excellent Stay
They could not have been more welcoming! They even left us freshly baked cookies! The property was lovely and stacked with so many games, toys, and activities for all ages. On many occasions throughout the weekend we talked about how it was one of the most well supplied vacation homes we had ever rented. There was so much to do and the three levels also allowed for everyone to spread out as well. We would certainly stay again!!

Perfect getaway for family

Our group of six adults and two dogs spent an amazing week in this beautiful home. Plenty of space inside and out, beautiful views, paths to walk, pond to enjoy. More amenities than any other home we have ever rented. Jeannette had great communication, but we really didn't have any issues, just some basic questions. Super quick responses. Comfortable beds, great showers. We highly recommend this home.
